This will help you decompress from the work world and the stress of reality. We had such a great time. Such a beautiful atmosphere and a great sense of pleasure in this place. We are so thankful for the weekend at the Thompson house. If you have the opportunity, do not miss out on staying at this wonderful place. We are very excited about planning another trip to come and stay at this location again.We give this stay a 10 out of 10. Completely loved it.

Stayed Mar 9, 2026This was by far the best place I have ever stayed. Back in town this week again and unfortunately the Thompson house wasn’t available but another house by the same owners was and it is just as nice. It wasn’t even a question on who to contact for a place to stay!

Stayed Aug 29, 2025One of the best experiences we have had with a short term rental. The communication with our host before and during our stay was incredible. The property was very well stocked with everything we needed including a first aid kit. The host has rehabilitated and decorated this 100 year old property beautifully, and has thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable.

Stayed May 22, 2025This is a wonderful rental. Decor is amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. Great location, quiet even though it’s right on a main street. Will definitely stay here again. Mary Ellen was very helpful and provided a lot of information. Wonderful experience!
