Stayed May 22, 2026Over the past four years while visiting our Saluki, SIVR and Wall Street Boutique has been a favorite place for us to stay. They have taken such good care of us on all our visits to see our daughter. The apartments are beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable and always clean. It has been the perfect home away from home for us. The welcome guide was always full of great recommendations for the area. Any future stays in Southern Illinois will definitely be with Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals and Wall Street Boutique.

Stayed Dec 31, 2025The host was great, very responsive and had us prepared for our arrival. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed for our short stay and was a perfect location for our needs. The apartment is on the third floor with no working elevator which could be an issue for some.

Stayed May 16, 2025Visiting daughter at SIU. It couldn’t have been any closer! We were there for her track meet and it only took us 5 minutes drive each way. Unlike hotels, this rental was so very quiet and peaceful. I will admit that when I walked through the first door to go upstairs to the unit I thought, “what have I done?” but once you climb the industrial looking flight of stairs and enter your private unit, you will be in awe of this lovely old refurbished water treatment plant.We will be visiting Carbondale sporadically while my daughter is there and will be very disappointed if I’m not able to rent the unit again at my next visit to town!

Stayed Feb 12, 2025We were a little concerned by the outside of the building, but inside was a different story. The place is clean and has reasonable amenities, parking was plentiful, and check-in/out process was easy. We didn’t try to use the elevator but since the rooms are on the 3rd floor, that would have made it easier getting our luggage in. Overall a great stay.
