The Traveler on Main - Suite #3- Across the Street from Back of the Dragon!

The location was excellent, and the suite was very cute with plenty of space. Communication with the host was also very prompt and she helped me with any issues.

It was clean and very nice. Heard a little noise from upstairs occupants but didn’t last long. It was a great spot for my 94 yo father to relax.

We stayed at the Traveler on our way back to Ohio from the Carolinas. We were traveling with our family (two adults and two middle grades kids) and my parents (in their 70s). It could not have been better, literally. We were given a code to enter the building and our suite. It was very clean, with lots of fresh towels and extras like shampoo, dish soap, coffee & creamer, etc. We have stayed in many airbnb-type places in which anything consumable is not included (even things like trash bags and toilet paper), so this was a welcome surprise after a day of traveling. The beds were comfortable, everything seemed quite new, everything worked well. We will definitely be staying here again. Just a note, though. Our map app took us along the Clear Fork river, on Rt 61 to get there from I-77 northbound. We were lucky it was daylight and clear skies, because this 55mph road was treacherously twisty and with lots of hairpin and blind curves. We were going almost 20mph lower than the posted speed limit and I felt like we were tempting fate. I understand we're saying that as people who live in a very flat area, but still. On our way out the next day we went Rt 460 to get back on to I-77, and wow, what a huge difference. We calculated that it would have taken the same amount of time to come this way, and that's what we'll be doing in the future. TLDR: book it.

Location is great . Everything is new. pet friendly. The doors close loud with a bang . Also can hear everything from the upstairs apartment . Also needs a laundry facility for long term stays . Aside from that. The place is lovely ! Will come stay again .

Perfect for us. Adult family with couple, sibling and parent-plus dog. The service was friendly and very responsive. The place was sparkling. It was so clean that it looked brand new. Were I to make any suggestions to management it would be to add more mirrors outside the bathroom. Some additional vanity space would be welcome for adult guests given there is only one in the bath. Our family would recommend this to anyone staying in town. The first floor access was critical for us and we liked that we could park near either the front or back door.

Ok, But the amenities should be a lot for the price.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Enjoyed being walkable to Main Street.
