We have stayed in many places in Keswick and this wonderful flat is certainly up there with the best. The location for an out of season visit is superb. Very close to all of the local amenities with beautiful views towards the fells from the upstairs rooms. The flat was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and always warm. An idea location with options for many walks straight from the door or only a few minutes drive away. We can highly recommend The Fell Pack, The Square Orange and LRB for delicious reasonably priced meals. We only have one small gripe. The double bed. The mattress was a little lumpy and very firm. There was also a roll to the middle. I had to use another bed. However this would not prevent us from visiting The Tops again as we had another wonderful week in the glorious Lake District.

Just spent 4 nights at The Tops in Keswick. The accommodation is excellent, it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, has everything you need for your stay. It is really handy for pubs, restaurants and shops and just a short walk to Derwentwater. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Keswick.

Fantastic property situated right in the centre of Keswick town. Right opposite Hope Park, lovely location. Access to the apartment was easy, property was very clean and well maintained with everything we needed inside. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped for a month to Friday break at the tops in Keswick. The location of the apartment is excellent, but a little bit noisy late at night and first thing in the morning. The apartment has everything you could need for a short break away. A couple of points to mention. The slats on the King size bed all loose and therefore creek at night when you move. The central heating is permanently and there was no way to adjust the temperature. At sometimes it felt like we were in a sauna!! Overall, a brilliant stay in a fantastic location. We will look to return in the future.

The Tops was easy accommodation to locate on arrival and the allocated parking space was a bonus especially as it’s a standalone space with no one parked either side (great for tetchy car owners like me!) Great central location with everything on your doorstep. The flat has been decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard with lovely furnishings and fittings. The beds are firm (memory foam) which we found fine. Big slouchy sofa in the living room plus one more ‘sit up’ sofa which was fine for us. The shower was bliss! Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Little extras like hand soap, oils, salt and pepper were useful. The views from the flat are lovely too. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up spending a lot of time in the flat. We did turn the central heating off and the radiators down as it was so warm. The owner could definitely save some money by installing a thermostat! The only downside, which may be more of a summer issue, is the noise on an evening, sadly. People sat outside the bar below were noisy at the front and the staff from the bar were noisy at the back (the back bedroom is just above a door for the bar). This did interrupt our sleep on a couple of nights but kind of expected. Keswick Cottages, as always, we’re super helpful helping us book. Despite the noise, we’d definitely go back as we felt the flat had a lovely relaxing feel to it and we loved being central to the town.

The apartment was immaculate, luxurious and just what we wished for! It provided us with everything we needed, if not more during our stay and we loved the upside down layout! The location was perfect, only minutes walk into Hope Park and the Lake. Car parking was also a huge bonus for the property with easy access in and out. Although neighbouring businesses provided us with late night time music, hustle and bustle during the peak of the Bank Holiday, it did not ruin our overall stay/holiday. We highly recommend ‘The Tops’ for both couples and families. We can't thank the team enough for the amazing customer service, hassle free booking and communication through out.

Wonderful comfortable place in such a great location - close to shops, pubs and restaurants but with views of the mountains from the kitchen. Great amenities and stylish decor. Felt like a real home from home but with the added luxury of a hotel. Easy parking. Can’t recommend The Tops enough! Only one small thing to be aware of is that the double bedroom is above the Fellpack bar/restaurant, so there is a bit of late night noise on closing.

The Tops is perfectly located in the heart of Keswick. The apartment is modern and cosy, with great views of Skiddaw from the kitchen window. You’ll struggle to find a better place to stay in Keswick town centre - it can’t be faulted.
