Stayed Sep 25, 2025The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously.

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Very nice place. Perfect for what I needed. Place was clean, and everything was new and functioning. Two suggestions: 1) Oil door to bathroom. Squeeks, and I was conscious of that/did not want to disturb upstairs occupants. 2) Put non-slip decals on tub bottom. Angle toward drain is more severe than usual, and it can get pretty slick standing on soap.

Stayed Aug 11, 2025Check in was quick and easy. The kitchen made it easy to cook out breakfast and dinner and had all the basics. Our only concern was that the shower did not have any safey grab bars and was a bit slippery, making it a challenge for the older members of our party.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025Can tell the owner put some TLC into this, as it looks very new. Beds were comfy, and had all the amenities needed. We booked the place to prep for a trip to Isle Royale which was only 40ish minutes away, and could still easily zip back over to Houghton for lots of restaurants and neat things to do.
