Quiet Country Apartment Getaway

Terrific property in a quiet country environment. Close to Calumet, Quincy Mine, rock hunting and sight seeing. Roomy accommodations. Comfy beds. Great well equipped kitchen.

This was a beautiful place to stay while we explored the Keeweenah peninsula. They had everything you would need if you wanted to eat in all the time as well. Comfortable bed, spacious arrangements and lots of other thoughtful amenities. Loved our stay. Will definitely consider another visit.

This location was very quiet, close to Calumet and area hot spots. Comfy beds, more than enough room for two people, nice size bathroom. Easy to control temps and plenty of hot water once it got to the taps. Lots of games and plenty of kitchen gear for cooking.

Country setting, homey and relaxing atmosphere, attention to detail, great communication. We forgot one item and owner was very happy to mail it to us.

Great place to stay! 20 mins to Houghton and 40 mins to Mount Bohemia!

This property is in a beautiful, remote, lovely location. The unit is well maintained and is quite new and refreshing. The beds were very comfortable! The bathroom is spacious and has a large walk-in shower. If there were no steps, the unit would be completely accessible for persons who use wheelchairs. The owners were very responsive to requests. The only thing that would have made it better for me would have been a standard coffee maker. They provided a Keurig with plenty of coffee. But I'm one of those folks who loves to brew his particular blend of coffee!

Beautiful property/surrounding area! Clean and comfortable stay -- had all the basics (cooking utensils, wi-fi) plus more (games, coffee, books/guides on local attractions)!

Lovely place to stay- very quiet, immaculate, private, and well-stocked apartment for our brief visit. Scenic grounds were very nice, including the pond and volleyball court. Host was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again next time we travel to the UP.

Incredible! stay. Accommodation was just as described. Very roomy, clean, with a large bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Location was very quiet with beautiful views. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the deer. Kitchen was very well stocked.The location is very close to restaurants in Calumet and 15 minutes from Hancock/Houghton.Owner is very prompt in communicating and very helpful. We happened to arrive as th family was arriving and they were very friendly and gave great suggestions on restaurants and activities.

We only stayed 1 night, but the apartment is very well appointed in a beautiful area. We would stay again. Very comfy bed, great bathroom, the kitchen was well equipped.

The perfect place. Quiet and serene. A big friendly coy in the pond!The kitchen was so well equipped that we just stayed in and braised some short ribs one night.

Our host thought of everything you need for a relaxing stay. The apartment is very spacious and very quiet. It was very close to everything we wanted to see and do. We definitely felt like we were lucky too have found this little piece of paradise. We would book it again if we travel back to Calumet. Five stars for sure!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ..... and great value! We were in town for the Snowmobile Water-cross races held in Lake Linden. Less than 5 miles from the venue. We enjoy the dining in Calumet and points north. The property is shared, the hosts house is 150' to the west and the only time we knew they were there was when their vehicles were parked in front of the garage. We felt totaly comfortable coming and going whenever we wanted and even walked the property a bit by the pond and apple trees and never once felt we were intruding or being watched over.Super quiet, awesome sleeping with the windows open!!Renters should recognize that this is a 2nd story unit OVER the garage so climbing stairs is a must to enter.

The property is amazing the house is wonderful and well kept. The owners are very friendly and responsive...the overall impressions of this trip is putstanding.. woth this great retreat it made the vacation that much better...Jake the dog is such a good boy...

This property is a great find. Peaceful and also close to town if needed. In the middle of Keweenaw activity so it makes an ideal home base. The kitchenware is fully stocked (we cooked a lot while here). It is spacious and clean.

My wife and 3 daughters (ages 3, 5, and 7) stayed for 3 nights. Communication with the host was quick and pleasant. The property was clean and in a beautiful location. They had a box of toys my kids loved playing with and even some fish/turtle food for them to feed the animals in the pond. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony after a day of exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula. Great location and lodging option.

When it came time to make lodging reservations we knew where we would stay again. This little over the garage apartment is so cute and well appointed! It’s perfect for our family’s ski weekend.

My wife and I stayed here for a quick snowmobiling weekend. Great little property for a weekend getaway! Property is located about a mile from the trails with easy access to them. Host was great and responsive!

Clean, comfortable, spacious & lots of comfy measures! Great communications! Amanda was a pleasant & very helpful host. The only extra comfort measure would be a ‘dumb waiter’ to avoid multiple luggage trips up the steps to the apt. Would book again in the future 👍
