'The Old Rock Quarry Studio' 6 mi N of OSU! Benton County Approved and Legal

Terry's place is a large studio with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It is spotless. The setting is a lovely wooded area just outside Corvallis, and the view from the patio is beautiful. We will certainly return! Important to note--the unit is above the 3 car garage, which means steep stairs to the door.

Quiet place with lots of amenities. Clean. Property owner is respectful. Great for solo travelers or couples

The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable, although the washer/dryer is very cramped. Although it is a short drive outside of Corvallis, the property is lovely and very quiet. My only complaint is that the stairs leading up to the unit over the main house's garage are in poor condition with loose handrails and uneven steps and landings. That makes accessing the unit carrying luggage somewhat precarious.

Comfortable accomodations and nice amenities

Such a great property! This quaint studio feels like a secluded, tranquil country retreat, but it's only minutes from local amenities. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. We came to Corvallis to watch our daughter play softball at OSU, and this place was perfect! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Very quiet and the interior of the space is superb. Fairly close to Corvallis, but maybe more of a getaway space, than convenient to things. The price was good. The stairs feel super unsafe. Didn’t have both of us on them at a time. The shared driveway is very rutted at the bottom and needs some grading or something. We weren’t on a getaway, but highly recommend for that.

So very charming, peaceful, and quiet. It was the perfect place to hang with my daughter for OSU Family weekend. We will be back. Highly recommend....10 STARS!

The quarry is a beautiful location! There is a lot to see and Cindy and Terry were very gracious in letting us roam the property and snack on the blackberries they grow.

Beautiful views, chirping birds and squirrels ar play. The apartment was comfortable with laundry machines and a dishwasher. Bring trash bags and toilet paper if staying longer than 2 nights. Upstairs unit. The owners are present on the property and are willing to share the patio and bbq etc. I rode my bike to town on the country roads

Perfect for what I needed as a single traveler. Didn't need a full kitchen.

The site is lovely (forest-y), and the unit is cozy and very nicely furnished. Very nice ambience. Would definitely return.

All amenities available. Did not need anything. Very little interaction with host but helpful with getting on wi fi.

The couch and leather chair were very comfortable! Loved laying in bed and seeing tree tops through the windows and skylights...favorite part. Overall very clean! Bathroom fan and shower curtains were a little dirty. We didn't use the kitchen but it was big and well layed out for a studio.

Quiet and had exactly what we needed

It was very comfortable once I got to my location. The GPS to the location is off just a little bit as my cab driver dropped me off below where the address really was which resulted in a tiring walk up the rocky incline until i reached their approach and was at the proper location. The place was clean and cozy. I was disappointed in how gross the coffee maker was which I cleaned before I officially settled in for my stay. It was cold on the first night and the heating and A/C unit was locked to only blow cool air, which made the first night very chilly. The 2nd and 3rd night were much warmer as I believe they left a heater on in the garage below the unit which made the floor and room much more warmer the next nights. It would of been nice if some more apps were unlocked or digned in I could have watched a better variety of shows, but it was ok for as long as I stayed there. It was very cool to see all the wildlife roaming the area. I saw several mule deer when my cab dropped me off the 2nd day. It did rain almost my entire trip, so I wasnt exploring the property that much, but I would definitly stay there again if given the opportunity.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and it's very nice and in a great location. My only recommendation is a better shower head and possibly one with an adjustable height - it's placed really high in a very small shower, so as a shorter person I have no choice but to get totally blasted in the face by the shower water!

We stayed here while moving our son into the dorms at Oregon State, and this place was perfect for the occasion. The studio was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, which was great after long days on campus. Terry was a thoughtful host and made check-in simple, which was appreciated.The location worked well for us—just a short drive to campus. We’d be happy to stay here again on future visits.

The Old Rock Quarry Studio is homey, comfortable, and clean. It features everything you might want in an extended stay. As mentioned in a previous stay with this host, there is a notable attention to detail here. It is green out of every window, and skylights that open add clean, country air. Note that parking is for one car including local guests. Note too that Check-out is 10:00, not the usual 11:00, I had to apologize for my failure to do so on time. I'll look for this place the next time I am visiting nearby Adair Village.

This is a really fun studio style space. It's very clean and feels very private despite being an above-the-garage unit. I really enjoyed the stay and would certainly recommend it.

Would not recommend for elderly due to amount of stairs to front door. We are in our 60’s and did fine with the stairs. Would recommend owners supply more than two bath towels and better lighting on stairs at night. Excellent location to relatives in Adair Village and Albany while located a 10 minute drive to Corvallis.

Appreciated being able to check in a little early. Very comfortable bed and good amount of space to hang out. Uber is available to get into town if needed. Responsive and friendly host. Appreciated the full size fridge and other amenities in the kitchen.

My husband and I went to Corvallis to visit both of our kids at OSU! The communication was outstanding from Terry and he double checked on us once we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was beautiful inside and out. Everything was arranged so well and was very clean. The setting was beautiful and we told ourselves immediately that this is where we would stay the next time we’re in Corvallis! Thanks for making this available and we hope to return again very soon! Location like listed. All you needed was there. Terry and Christie has been very nice. On their property you could use the terrasse with chairs and lounge furnitures.
