The Holly Herald Downtown Battle Alley

Boy, I have I rented a lot of vacation rentals over the last 25 years and this is hands down one of my favorites, mostly because it felt like you’re so much at home I couldn’t wait to get back there at the end of the day just to relax and unwind because you are at home! They are right about the train so I’ll be prepared next time, she does have earplugs and some machines that help but it would not stop me from being there again.

Such a charming place! Walking distance to all the cute shops and restaurants. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Detailed and prompt communication. Would definitely stay again.

We went for the Dicken's Festival and was right in the middle of the action. When we would get cold, we could walk a few steps to our apartment and watch the festivities out the windows while warming up. It's a fantastic Apartment and an incredible location.

The Herald was a cozy place to stay while we visited our daughter's family to celebrate a late Christmas. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and feeling like home. The mattress was amazing and we slept very well! Although the train did not bother us, I love their forethought to provide earplugs for light sleepers. The view in the evening with the lights above Battle Alley is beautiful and gives you that quaint Hallmark movie vibe.During our stay the outside temps dipped below zero and the furnace quit working. Rachel was quick send help (shout out to her Dad!) with heaters while we waited for the HVAC person. He arrived and got the furnace back up and running in no time at all. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Our host was wonderful, very responsive and flexible. It’s a lovely apartment with a nostalgic view, even in winter. We stayed for a girls night, just to have drinks, grab dinner at the pub and get caught up; this was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at The Herald. The space is absolutely beautiful and everything is done so thoughtfully and with great attention to detail. The glowing lights from the street added such a cozy, welcoming feel, especially in the evenings. Working with the owner was a complete breeze from start to finish, which made the experience even better. We felt right at home and cannot wait to return.

Wow, what a great apartment. Spacious and such a great location in Battle Alley. We stayed there in November, and I must say it was a bit drafty, but it's an old historic building.The coffee shop is right next door. Can't beat that. Rachel responded to messages promptly and is accomodating. I would definitely rent again.

This is our 3rd time staying here for the Dicken's festival. We just love the property and the location. We can look out our front window and watch all the goings on at the festival while staying snug at this wonderful rental. Highly recommend.

We were in town for my daughters wedding and this is on the top of my list for places I have stayed. The place has very nice amenities which I love! You can tell she wants her guests to be happy. Rachel was superb with communication.

The Holly Herald is a beautiful space.Well appointed amenities. Such a neat setting right on Battle Alley. Great little shops and restaurants to walk to. Had a great weekend. Would definitely come back!

Lovely updated apartment in a historic building. All of the tiny touches make it super cozy.

We were staying in Holly for a family wedding and so glad we chose The Herald. There were quaint shops and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was decorated with a unique theme and every detail was covered. It was a short distance to the wedding venue and the location provided easy access to and from. Rachel responded to any questions we had in a very timely manner. We would definitely stay at The Herald again when visiting Holly, Michigan.

We were in town for a Family event and we loved staying in this beautiful apartment. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for the events we had. The near by pub and coffee shops proved to be handy and delicious! Thanks for making a tough event as pleasant as it could be!

Cool place in a great location.

We stayed at the Holly Herald for one night as we attended a weekend close by in Fenton. While there is not a ton to do in Holly, it was the absolute perfect place with modern updates, beautiful decor an amazing bathroom and still so much charm. We were right in downtown Holly and couldn't asked for a better ambiance. Thank you Rachel, it was perfect!

This property was the perfect place to stay after our wedding. We were exhausted and loved that our stay was a few short steps from The Holly Vault. The space was clean and easy to access. Highly recommend!
