the best place to visit Genoa

What can I say but wow. Riccardo is an absolute gentleman with his attention to detail. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and with a million dollar view of Nervi. Will absolutely come back without hesitation.

We (family with two kids) lived here for 6 days in June, and had an absolutely fantastic stay. The host gave us lots of tips to what to do, where to travel, where to eat, where to buy gelato (Chicco!), where to buy foccacias for breakfast, the best beaches, etc - and all of them was of great value for us. There are very good and cosy restaurants only few meters from the appartment. Nervi is a great place to stay when visiting other places in Liguria (we went to Genoa, Bogliasco, Camogli, Portofino and San Fruttuoso) but most of all: Nervi is a great place to stay in itself. The appartment was great, and the host was very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. I recommend this place of all my heart.

Riccardo was absolutely amazing with communication and assisting us on our journey to his home!. The house was immaculate and more than we dreamed with amazing views on the water, close to transportation services, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and a walking trail!Everyone in the area was very helpful and super nice. We highly recommend this host and house and would stay longer if we didnt have to fly home!

A fantastic stay!The view of the sea was great and it’s right by tasty restaurants and a stunning boardwalk. Riccardo was very welcoming and thorough. Just note that “parking” means street parking. If you can book this apartment, book it!

We had an amazing visit to Nervi. It was the most we could have hoped for in a location, in accommodations, and host hospitality. The property is modern, clean, and spacious, with a great view and perfect location for exploring the Ligurian coast.We have travelled a lot and have never experienced such a nice, informative, and welcoming host. Our stay at The Fishermans House was a wonderful, relaxing experiance. The house was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the port of Nervi. Riccardo was an exceptional host who always went over and beyond to make sure our visit was enjoyable. He lent his time and tour advice to ensure that we were able to find our way up and down the coast and educated us on riding the trains, boats and buses.I would highly recomend Riccardo and his charming home.EJ

His local knowledge was invaluable.Riccardo's Insights: Friendly and knowledgeable, Riccardo provided excellent recommendations for dining and activities, enhancing our stay.Condition of the Property: As the first rental of the season, some areas still needed attention. The beach in front was under construction, creating noise and limited access. Just not very pretty or appealing Sound Levels: The train is audible at all hours, which may disturb light sleepers.Dining Recommendations: Dining options are limited; Il Dodo Bar is good for drinks, and Halloween Restaurant offers delicious food—reservations are recommended.Breakfast Tips: Don't miss the breakfast spot on the hill for pastries he recommends. Apartment Amenities: Ceiling fans are present, but the mini splits were not able to be used? The second bathroom is small and not suitable for us. Space Considerations: the second bath is tiny and not in any of the pictures for a reason. Also the narrow stairs may be challenging for those with mobility issues.Check-out Experience: Smooth check-out. He arranged a taxi to the airport, which was convenient.Overall Impression: Nervi has its charm, though Santa Margarita might suit us better. Riccardo's exceptional hospitality was a highlight of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Nervi. The apartment is in a great location overlooking the harbor. Our host met us on arrival (at short notice we arrived earlier than scheduled and he was very accommodating). He spent time telling us about local places to eat and how to navigate the buses and trains. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely and comfortable apartment in a really beautiful spot. The windows overlook a small picturesque bay with good food and beautiful walks along the ocean all right there, and close to public transport (but beware Italian train strikes!). The host was very helpful and responsive and everything was as described in the listing. I would love to go back again some day.

Genova Nervi to me is better than Portofino. Colored buildings in a small cove/marina with a beach. 8 restaurants. 2 gelato bars, crepes, and a wine bar. Cove has own ferry dock to visit other towns on Italian Riviera like Portofino and Monterosso and beautiful wide walkway along the ocean to the train station nearby. Apartment is newly remodeled and lovely with view in middle of beach and ocean. Manager Riccardo responds to everything quickly - meets u at the train station - available to help u with any needs you require or ask of him. I can’t give anything lower than a perfect 10 rating for him and our time in Genova Nervi. You will enjoy the Italian food and people and places u can visit from this location.

This is a lovely apartment right at the water's edge in the small port of Genoa Nervi. It was very clean and well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Riccardo welcomed us at the door. He was gracious and readily available to answer any questions regarding the apartment and general information about the area. We enjoyed every minute and will be back again!
