We very much enjoyed our stay. It has all needed amenities including laundry which we did use one day after one of our excursions. If we come back to Ketchikan we would stay here again.

Beautiful views, very comfortable, excellent King-size bed. Everything brand new. Hosts through of every need in terms of utensils, streaming TV availability. The stairs are a bit daunting for us older beings. BBQ useful. Covered deck views the inside passage. Very comfortable, highly recommended.

We had a great stay! The space is beautiful and well set up! Communication was easy and fast. Lovely place.

Great place to stay. Cozy and perfect.

Everything about the bear den was perfect! Comfortable, cozy and clean. It has been my favorite place to ever stay! We saw an eagle in the tree right off the front porch! The scenery was amazing and it was so nice to do a fishing charter and go back to a house to make the food you just caught. We enjoyed every single day in Ketchikan and it was so nice to have a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons on the porch and sleep well so the next day you can get up and explore again! Great place to make memories! We will be back!

Owners take great pride in keeping this up.Amazing views of the Sound, you can see Cruise Ships, Float Planes and Bald Eagles Flying in between the trees.Very thoughtfully equipped with so many small but important items. (i.e. earplugs for snorers...)Kitchen has everything to cook if you so desire. Perfect place to stay for you and your family! The hosts were very kind and family oriented, you feel safe in the neighborhood, and the views are unmatched! We would stay here again if we ever make the trip again!

The apartment was very clean, in a good location, and had every thing we needed. Even lots of seasonings. We had a very good time. The only downside was the apartment is on the ground floor with the owner's home above. We could always hear walking above, but one day, there was running, stomping, a loud crash, etc. It was a rainy day, and we were trying to relax and read. I believe the grandkids were visiting, and they couldn't go outside either.

Wonderful property and it was in the perfect location for us. Nice views from our windows, comfortable, and just all around lovely place. We could easily walk to the historic downtown. We also had rented a car which was nice to have to drive north and south to various hiking locations and sights. We would definitely recommend staying at this VRBO.

The Bear Den was a great home base for our family of 4 in Ketchikan. We could easily head into town or south to see eagles and bears, or head north for open views and whale watching. The balcony was a great place to end the day with family games and a view. Comfy beds and setup. Loved this property.

This place was ideal for us, and met all our needs. Close to everything, a lovely view of trees and the waterfront, and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommend this place and Ketchikan.

We absolutely loved Don and Brenda’s place. Location is walking distance to everything including public bus to both totem parks. Views are spectacular and the trees off the deck are full of eagles. Everything was perfect.

The property was very nice. It was very clean and very up to date. Even though they live on the premises I can only assume that the hosts felt that they did not want to impose upon our privacy. They never introduced themselves. I couldn't tell you what they look like. Never checked in on us to see how we were enjoying their place. I don't need to be babysitted but I just found it a little unusual compared to all the other informative and friendly hosts that we have stayed with on the numerous times we have visited Ketchikan.

This little apartment was perfect. The bed was devine. The place warm. Watching the trees in the windy storm was lovely.The branches seemed to dance. The host was very accomodating, we had parking in the driveway and felt very much at home. Thank you to our hosts!

Very nice place ?

The location is just stunning. The views are amazing and it's so close to town you can walk. The furnishing are well thought out and really make this place feel like home.

The property exceeded all of our expectations! It was so quaint and cozy! The king size bed was very soft and comfortable! The shower was nice and i loved the shampoo dispenser so much, I ordered one! But our favorite part was the outdoor eating area! Loved the stringnof lights around the deck! Thank you Don and Brenda for a wonderful stay!

A nice place at the top of the hill on Water Street/2nd Ave. Small efficiency nestled in the woods, very comfortable, excellent facilities with stove, oven, and refrigerator for cooking our own meals. Nice walk down the hill to town for shopping and dinner. Very Good Parking!! With the cramped Ketchikan parking conditions this property has Excellent parking, we never had a problem.

We loved our stay. Brenda and Don thought of everything and we were very comfortable!

This was a beautiful spacious place that was a very nice spot to bring the kiddos!
