Stayed Aug 15, 2025We felt very comfortable in this B&B in the best of taste of pretty country chic. Breakfast was accompanied by soft music from Janes LP collection, which pretty much impressed our 11 years old daughter. Jane was very attentive any shared little things with our daughter. She was very helpful with recommendations for trips in the area as well. Being interested in gardening, she even offered to share her Mexican daisies with us. This stay way a great start in our South Western England vacation.

Stayed Aug 1, 2025It was perfect to stay with our dogs and walk to the Alder vineyard for our tour and lunch. We were able to check in first and did not need to use the car until we left

Stayed Jul 19, 2025It's such a lovely situation. Extra fees to stay for one night, and if course the additional £25 for our dog made it a 3 out of 5 for value for money, but I was willing to pay. A great spot if you are doing the wine tasting. Facilities were good, apart from a WiFi code which doesn't work. But it didn't take from a lovely stay. The owners grandchildren are noisy above the Annex which could be difficult for some but we had a great stay and would come again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Jane makes you feel so welcome. Attention to detail is fab. The room was cosy, clean, comfortable with lovely extra touches. Milk in fridge, homemade fudge and plenty of tea/coffee most welcomed after a long journey. Grounds are stunning and well worth exploring.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lobhill Farmhouse is a gem. We have now stayed in The White Room, The Annex and The Cottage. All are well positioned, comfortable and well-equipped. Jane is a star host. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is so friendly, kind and helpful. You could not ask for better. Beautiful grounds to sit in, lovely walks through the woods and an award-winning vineyard at rhe bottom of the hill. What more could you ask for?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The breakfast, the marmelade (which was the best during our journey), the local products and the wonderful breakfast. In addition Jane's great hospitality allowed us to relax and to have a great start into our journey. Steve's and Jane's help concerning the tire pressure problem was very helpfull as the problem was solved for the trip. Thanks

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Jane had obviously thought about her guests needs and we couldnt find any fault at all. We stayed in the Garden Annex and it was clean and very comfortable and the jar of fudge is a really nice thought too - it didnt last long with us!!!!! We enjoyed the quietness at night time and the beautiful scenery in that area during the day time. We would definately go back hopefully in the near future.
