Great location to everything, campus, Dixon, and plenty of resturants. Will definitly be on our list of places to stay next time we are in town.
The parking area was sketchy. The front door was extremely hard to open. The apartment was very old & smelled the same. There were 2 ac window units, so the place was always warm. The couch had no legs, so it felt like you were sitting on the ground. Probably not a great place to take kids due to all of the marijuana smoking in the building. The decor was cute though.
Wonderful location. Great space. Unfortunately, we got a parking ticket because there was nothing in the check in about parking in the front. Tried contacting management several times for different things and never received responses.
The photos online are very deceiving for this property. The photos make it seem spacious and it is obvious that the photos have been edited to be appealing to the eye. The area was average, however, there were several times we felt unsafe. In particular when we had to park in the back alley late at night. The location was the best part about this property as it was easily accessible and a quick walk to everything.
Amazing
Pros: The location is amazing, we literally walked everywhere downtown because this place is so close to everything. The balcony was cool, but there were no twinkle lights as advertised. We found them stuffed in a closet. Place was mostly clean—dusting needs to happen in places one wouldn’t normally dust. This isn’t necessarily a pro or con, just a fact. Not bothered by it and it didn’t impact our stay. But that’s why I gave 4 stars on cleanliness and not 5. Cons: Parking. The listing says you have your own parking spot in the alley behind the building. But the thing is…. There are two other homes right behind this building and there’s probbaly enough spaces for about 5 cars? When we arrived, all spots were taken. So we ended up parking in the public parking most of the time across the street. BUT! You can only do this on weekends when it’s free, otherwise gotta feed a meter. This cute place has window units for A/C, so make sure you’re good with that, as they either freeze you out or make you balmy. This place was perfect for our weekend trip. We really enjoyed Fayetteville and Devil’s Den State Park.
Great location for a weekend visit - we walked to everything.
Great stay overall! Near downtown and the square!
Cute and cozy in the perfect location.
