Tahoe Ridge - A Family Favorite

Family vacation in a ski trip and it was a fun resort to stay at. Indoor tennis court with the ball machine was really cool. They had lot of other activities to do as well. We ended up making a last minute decision to come in a day early and the vrbo room wasn't available but they were able to get us into a similar room and we were able to stay there the entire trip. Room and common areas were very clean. Staff was friendlier than most I've dealt with. We had a couple of issues, door was locked between rooms and pilot light for furnace was off, and they resolved them immediately, which was appreciated. One thing to note is that you will prob have to take a shuttle to the ski hill. There are ways to ski down or maybe use the people mover, but I'm guessing most spots at this location would be better to use the shuttle. From what i could tell it did run almost constantly so most of the time its no wait or a short one. I didn't know this heading out there, but there really aren't any real ski in ski out locations at heavenly.

Property is amazing. My family enjoyed all the amenities the property offers. The pool is at the very top of the mountain with great views of the scenery. The drive down to the casinos and south lake tahoe is only 15-20 minutes away which is not bad at all for the great value yiu are receiving in this place.

Pretty okay stay… Only reason I have rated it 3 stars is because there was no AC, it was a good ways away from anything, there were smushed bugs on the wall and hot cheetos scattered around the couch when we checked in, and the check in process was a wild goose chase!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and our kids loved being close to the pool. One complaint is that it can get hot with no A/C and the windows only open up a small sliver, so hard to cool it down during the evening. It's also facing the afternoon sun, so you need to keep the drapes closed during the day if you don't want it getting too overwhelming. Still--nice place and nice facility

The location was beautiful and perfect to what we needed. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. People were Friendly and responsive. So was the owner

The units are really quite generous in size. Most ski condos are cramped and compromised, not here. Only downside is that the kitchens have the bare necessities which probably works for most families.

The property has great access to heavenly and close to South Tahoe. This property is essentially a hotel room with a kitchen. The kitchen was pretty sparse, so dont plan on cooking much here. The check-in was extremely slow. It took over 45 minutes of standing in line. The hot tubs also need some maintenance, they were more in the warm tub range. We also had an issue with parking on Saturday. Went out for dinner, and when we came back we had to check parking in several different lots before we could find a spot.

This place was nicer than expected. I stayed in the two bedroom place. It was similar to a two bedroom apartment. The kitchen had all the basic cooking stuff you need. There was good water pressure. The pullout bed in the couch was very large. There were trams to take you to Heavenly, and the resort also has a private gondola that take you right next to the chairlift super convenient.
