Stayed Oct 12, 2023We had a wonderful time despite the rain for the most part. The home was nice and had all you needed if you wanted to prepare meals. We chose to eat out and that was great because the apartment is close to so many restaurants and cafes and the food was unbelievable. YUM! There is a parking garage provided but I found it a bit tight to park and decided to park outside. I didn't find a problem finding parking although it was October and not as many people around. If you are traveling during the peak season, I suggest the garage. There was an issue with the elevator and when I called the host, she quickly had the repair person come and while we were out it was fixed. By the time we got back it was as if nothing was wrong. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Five friends found this apartment in Praia da Barra an ideal location. The apartment was large and well maintained. The three bedrooms and the layout of the apartment allowed lots of space to gather and at the same time offered privacy. An evening stroll on the beach was just across the street and the nearby city of Aveiro(c.4-5km) was beautiful. It is deservedly spoken of as the Venice of Portugal. People were friendly on the street and throughout the community. The location proved ideal for touring Oporto, the Douro Valley and other areas of northern Portugal. Wonderful place for relaxation and for touring. I would go back anytime. Our contact persons were more than helpful, from our initial contact by email to meeting us as we arrived and helping during our stay.
