Staying at Gennaro's home in Pompeii was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we booked, you could feel the difference – this isn't just a rental property; it's a place someone truly cares about, and that love shows in every detail. His communication before our arrival was outstanding – he took the time to guide us through traveling by train from Rome to Naples and on to Pompeii, making what could have been stressful navigation feel simple and manageable. Once we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. His attentiveness and genuine care made us feel like honored guests rather than customers.The home itself was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and perfectly located for exploring Pompeii and the surrounding area. But what truly set this experience apart was the personal touch – you can tell Gennaro takes pride in hosting and genuinely wants his guests to have a wonderful stay.If you're looking for authentic Italian hospitality and a place that feels like home, look no further. The Soleluna appartment is a very beautiful and cozy place. The hosts Gennaro and Gianpaolo were very nice and friendly. They took good care of us. We stayed there for one week with seven persons (4 adults and three children). We had enough place in one main room for 3 persons and bathroom en suite, one side room with two single beds and a sofa-bed for two persons in the living room. The appartment has two spacious bathrooms, a washing machine and a kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The kitchen is well iluminated and spacious. It has wordeful vitrals and the dinning table is also in the kitchen. The appartment is very well located. You can reach the scavations in 5 minutes by foot. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating. We loved the kitchen and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment was clean and very pretty with a lovely view of the mountains from the balcony

Walking distance to main train station and Pompeii ruins. We would stay here again.

The location of the apartment is absolutely ideal: it is close to the archaeological site (5 minute walk to the amphitheatre entrance) and the Circumvesuviana station. It is also close to a variety of restaurants and alimentari. There is even a nearby grocery store. We were worried about parking, but the street parking was easy and not an issue at all. We parked in front of the building. The check in process was easy (our host was waiting for us and we were in communication before arriving). We have a family of four and there was plenty of room. We highly recommend the Sun and Moon if you are visiting Pompeii!

Great apartment with all needed items.

The home was even better to see in person. The host could not have been more accommodating and kind! This is a hidden gem and could not possibly disappoint anyone! Bonus, we made a new friend!! If I come back, I will definitely book here!

The stay here was amazing. We couldn’t be more happy with our experience! Our host Gianpaolo met us outside the apartment, gave a tour of the place, showed us places to go on a map and even made dinner reservations for us on our first night at what ended up being our favorite place to eat during the entire trip! The apartment was perfect and very spacious for my family of 6. Highly recommended!!

Firstly, our hosts Gennaro and Giovanna were so wonderful. They met us at the apartment and gave us directions to the ruins and recommendations for dinner - iMatti - it was one of our best meals in Italy. The apartment was clean and modern and very beautiful. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. Parking was easy - Gennaro helped us park on the street in front of the apartment. I would return here again and again. Thank you to Gennaro and Giovanna for such a terrific experience.
