Stylish Studio with Campus View!

Quaint property. Very clean and quiet. Never saw tha cats that were mentioned but there were deer in the yard both mornings when we got up. 100% recommend!!

Our stay at this property was for 3 days and was very enjoyable. Close to the TXST campus, walkable if weather is good, clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the square, the campus and the river. The host was very responsive to messages and her host cat welcomed us each time we returned. The home itself is very reminiscent of my family’s lake cabin with rock walls, lovely plants and water barrels which make you green with envy. The sunlight through the large windows is enough to light up your day and the ceiling fan and a/c unit keep the room very cool and comfortable. There is a great coffee bar, microwave and super cute mini fridge. We will definitely be back!

Great space and excellent location.

This property has all of the basic comforts of home. It's located in a residential quiet neighborhood, close to TSU, very clean, comfortable bed & pillows, nice towels & toiletries, coffee & coffee maker, electric kettle, teas, kitchen utensils, with refrigerator & microwave are all provided. The owner is very friendly, responsive, respects your privacy, & even allowed me to check-in early. Studio also has nice closet space & the icing is the free Netflix. I rarely watch movies so this was such a nice touch. It will be my 'go to' place to stay when I visit my son at TSU.

clean and convenient!

This was a great spot for my husband and I to spend the weekend when we were visiting our son at Texas State. The bed is SO comfy!!! The unit is very clean and has everything you need. There is a pretty strong, musty smell that got better as we ran the fan on the AC. Otherwise, it was a perfect spot! We absolutely adored the orange cat who lives outside as well!!

I notified the host that we would be in late and the host responded; however, the property was completely dark and it was very difficult to make out the address on the building, the driveway we were supposed to park in, and then we had to walk through a dark yard with suitcases to locate the front door. We then had to produce a flashlight from a cell phone to punch in the door code. I opened the listing later from the app and found another section with a picture of the driveway and clearer instructions as to where to park ... this should have been on the initial screen with the door code. Also, either a motion activated light is necessary or the host could have left the porch light on for us, especially since we communicated we would be in late. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and did not efficiently cool the room. For the price, this was not acceptable.

I enjoyed my stay! The space was just as described, clean, and had everything I needed as a solo traveler. It’s a great location with easy access to campus and more.

This is our second time staying here. We love the quietness of the area. The room is always clean with fresh linens. Will stay here next time as well!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a great location. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure! We had everything we needed for our short stay. If we come back to San Marcos we will definitely be booking here again.

Minimalist stress freestay

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained.

Very clean room and bathroom. Towels smelled freshly washed. Check in was a breeze. Close to everything near downtown San Marcos. Resident orange tabby Cricket was a joy! Visited every day. Stayed 5 minutes and then went back out. Sweet kitty.

This was a great little place to stay over the weekend! Everything was there for a comfortable place for a solo traveler. It is a 5 minute walk to a couple coffee shops, convenience shop, liquor store, and trendy eating spots. Located on a quiet street very close to the college but without the noise. I brought my bike and was able to ride to some running/walking trails nearby and bike along the San Marcos river. Even had a friendly cat keep me company while sitting out on the porch. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting again. Thanks!

This studio apartment was perfect for our needs. Mostly need a place to sleep and shower as we were gone most of the day. The host was very nice. I will definitely use again.

Spacious little studio with great amenities. Close to Grins and everything else!!

My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights, while visiting TXST. It is in a great location, walking distance to campus and restaurants. But, in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood, with deer walking around. ? . Georgia is a wonderful host! We will definitely be staying here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
