    The apartment needed some updates and we pointed these all out to the team so they contacted maintenance before the next guests arrived.Sadly the washer dryer was playing up and the radiator in the main bathroom wasn’t working which meant leaving the towels in another room. We were moving in from Edinburgh to York and were hoping to do some washing but this was not possible …. the one wash we did do we had to hang around the apartment to dry…could not find a drying stand. The location was very good.

    Everything was great except the amount of cleaning supplies left by the cleaning crew. We were left with a very small amount of dishwashing soap, nothing there for general cleaning of kitchen counters and stove top. No paper towels or napkins of any sort, only one tea towel which got dirty very quickly. There was leaking water on the floors of both bathrooms which I presume was fixed after notifying the host. There were homeless people sleeping right at the outside doorway. They would smoke and the smell would come right up the stairs. Location was superb with all the top attractions walking distance away. Plenty of restaurants and pubs just steps away. Other than the few minor item listed, our stay was wonderful!

    The apartment was very nice and clean, except for the underwear our daughter found in their bedroom. All rooms are large, nicely furnished, and kitchen is well appointed. Could use a keurig/coffee maker vs espresso. Listing needs amending on a couple items. Two beds are king, the third with the ensuite bath is a queen. There's a long set of stairs you have to go up to get to this apartment and there is NO handrail. Apartment is centrally located and lots of attractions, pubs, etc within walking distance and close to the bus and tram. Our main issue was with the host. I sent them a message asking for more detailed instructions on the washer/dryer, as the ones provided are inadequate, but I never got a response. On our last night before flying home, the electricity went out around 2:00AM, and it only seemed to affect our apartment as the hall lights and adjacent buildings and street lights were on. I sent a message to the host, but again, never received a response, even at 9AM as we were about to take off. I would have thought that they would at least send some sort of response/apology, but nothing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this apartment and had an amazing time in Scotland, but due to a complete lack of responses on the part of the host, not sure I'd recommend it.

    Location was ideal for a central point to visit main sites in Edinburgh and was also in close proximity to both the tram (Princes St stop) and train station (Waverly). Felt the description and pictures were accurate of the site. The one flight of stairs to the unit was not challenging.The site was spotless and very clean. Ample linens/towels but the quality of the towels was poor and should be replaced (one set literally frayed all over the floor after each use). How come there is no mirror in ensuite bathroom?Kitchen suited our cooking needs but could use more prep utensils (ie spatula and the like, there was enough forks/knives/spoons). Please list on supplies that you provide several french presses in addition to Nespresso machine.Washing machine was helpful and did a good job for washing a few loads during our nearly week-long stay.Could not figure out how to turn on ceiling chandler lights in the largest bedroom (with king bed) despite multiple strategies. Maybe this should be addressed?Our family really enjoyed our stay and would stay again at this lovely site. Loved the local restaurants/shops etc all within short walk from the flat. Future visitors should know that front bedrooms face the main street and *could* be subject to hearing folks drinking and celebrating down below so take some earplugs. All in all, thank you for a great visit.

    Beautiful flat! Right across the street from the Assembly Rooms during the Fringe, but not too noisy. Well decorated, comfortable, and serene. Lovely en suite bathroom. A great holiday stay for 3 mature couples!

    Excellent location! Easy access to everything Edinburgh - either walking or by hired car. Very pretty flat. Not sure which light switch goes with which light (or if some bulbs were burned out...). Somebody should clean the beautiful chandelier in the living room. It is spectacular! A very nice property!
