You can come and go as you please without interruption. Your host does not reside on site, but is readily available through Airbnb communications.

Situated on Capitol Hill a couple blocks above the Utah State Capitol, and with no neighbors across the street, you will have spectacular views of the Salt Lake Valley. Imagine a home in a very quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to the excitement of downtown; that is just what you will enjoy.

You may check in at your leisure with the keypad code on your private entrance door. A washer and dryer, exclusively for your use is included in this home.

In a quiet neighborhood a couple blocks north of the Utah State Capitol and walking distance to Temple Square, you will have an exquisitely decorated four bedroom, two bathroom home, one of two duplexes, completely to yourselves. You will be able to relax on the patio or your own two balconies looking out over the city lights. If cooking is your thing, this is the right place for you. The kitchen is completely equipped ready for your culinary delights. A barbecue on the patio is also available for your grilling skills.

Mountain View is on the hill above the Utah State Capitol. If you enjoy walking you can get downtown to all the shopping and restaurants without needing a car. There are many scooter rental spots downtown, which are fun to use if you decide you don’t want to walk home. Lyfts and Ubers are easy to arrange. If you rent a car to explore more of Utah and the ski resorts, there’s plenty of free parking in the driveway and across the street, where there are no homes.

The large windows are great to see the views. During the hot summers they can increase the heat in the unit, especially the west facing windows. To keep the unit cool please close the drapes during the hot times of day.

There are lots of beds to allow for your large group. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and a sofa bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a twin bed. Bedroom 3 has a full bed and a twin bed. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed. There are comfortable floor-mats under the twin mattress in bedrooms 2 and 3 that can be used in the living room.

    We stayed at this property in December 2024. My daughter was relocating to SLC to start a job in January 2025. We drove cross country over 4 days and arrived on 12/22. The location was spacious(4 bedrooms-perfect for my husband and I, my adult daughter, and adult son) and right on Capital Hill. The view of the city and mountains from the front bedroom is spectacular. This location was 20 minutes or less from everywhere we needed to be and everything we needed to do.The hosts were very responsive to any requests or questions that I had. I would definitely stay again.
