Great stay! Beautiful location, newer place, and very clean!
Every thing was awesome about this property, just one little hiccup. The bed was not the most comfortable, basic thin foam mattress that had both of us tossing and turning through the night.
Everything was exceptionally clean and nice. Except that bed. There were white stains on the comforter and the bed was literally just a piece of foam. Not memory foam or anything supportive. Like couch foam. Both my wife and I woke up with sore backs. With how well done the rest of the place is, the bed is NOT the place to skimp on spending. The quality of the bed alone was enough of an issue that we just could not stay there again.
Perfect flat for a quick weekend getaway for my wife and me. Close enough to town where you can walk, bike, or drive and a five minute walk to the trails at Bjorklunden.
This flat is a very comfortable base camp to explore all Door County has to offer. It is clear that the host has been very thoughtful and intentional about creating a very comfortable accomodation to relax at between your adventures.
We enjoyed our stay! The flat had everything we needed and the location was so peaceful and quiet.
The cons - Kitchen was spacious but terribly equipped - sink is about 9 square ( so you can't fit a dinner plate into it);) there's no dishwasher, no toaster oven (there is a toaster though). Beware if you plan to do any food prep at all here. It felt odd to have no deck space - the small area designated for guests to sit outside is 17 steep steps down from the apartment and faces a view of scrub woods about 2 feet from the chairs. So not appealing. The good: clean, spacious, quiet, bright (but good window coverings so you can sleep in), comfortable bed and furniture for 2 people. The area was beautiful! Biking distance to lots of beaches and nature preserves/parks, some nice restaurants & pubs in town, max 15 min drive to anywhere on the Egg Harbor/Ephraim side.
We booked this for a quick Fourth of July trip in door county, and this was the best spot! The place is extremely comfortable, clean, and well designed. We were able to walk to downtown for the festivities. Overall, great stay!
Great location! Easy access to the highways. The property is brand new and beautiful! Loved it and would stay here again!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay when we visited Door County for a long weekend. The space is cozy, quiet and had everything we needed for our visit. The only snafu was that I never received an email with check-in information, but the rental company was quick to assist and everything was great after that. Highly recommend this space!
We have stayed at this property before and will again in the future. Great location just outside Bailey's Harbor; quiet neighborhood, clean and spacious for 2-4 people.
It was just as advertised and a nice place to stay and to rest between exploring Door County and eating out. We’d stay again.
This place was just as advertised, and very convenient to all that we wanted to do in Door County. We did not have a need to contact our host, so we have no opinion on that. If you want ice (we did) bring a cooler and pick some up at the market.
This place is lovely
The property is well equipped, clean and very comfortable with lots of space. You can tell the owners put great care and detail into their rental. Fantastic location with a wonder path to the lakefront. Private entrance. Great stay!
This was a very clean cute spot for my family to stay. You can tell the owners care about the property and think about all the details that make it a great place to stay.
Stayed for 2 nights with my teen nieces. The location was great to get to all the places we wanted to hit up. Everything was as advertised, and we were comfortable during our quick stay.
5 stars new, clean, perfect location privacy.
Beautiful property with a short hike to Lake Michigan with beautiful views! Property was well taken care of in a nice, secluded neighborhood on a wooded lot. We would definitely stay here again!
Clean, and good location. The sleeping/living area is excellent. The kitchen/dining area is cramped and not designed for cooking or dishwashing. Lots of thoughtful touches by the owners, except it is accessible only by a steep, internal staircase, with no secondary means of egress in an emergency that might block the stairs. The bathroom is nice, but a shower mat and grab bars in the shower would significantly reduce the danger of a slipping on the slick shower floor.
Clean quiet spot. It was perfect!
Superb little flat above a garage in a very quiet neighborhood. Just off the Maxwelton Braes golf course, this is close to it all. 1.8 miles to midtown Baileys Harbor. King bed, pullout couch/bed, Mini fridge, micro & coffee maker were all we needed. Outside there were 2 lovely rocking chairs where we played cards and saw Pileated woodpeckers each day! Highly recommend!
Overall, we had a great visit in and around Baileys Harbor, and found the studio apartment to meet our needs. The unit was cute, clean and comfy. There was a nice summer vibe to the place, with images of Door County and helpful maps and suggestions for things to do. That said, we would like the owners/managers to consider our suggestions, which will likely enhance their guests’ stays. We have found that our own vrbo guests (we have 2 properties) have mentioned that they appreciate the following: an iron and board; small free-standing make-up mirror (can store under vanity), bar soap (hotel-style), pillow-protectors (it’s hard to wash pillows). It was nice that some coffee was provided, but a sugar shaker or some sugar packets would have been greatly appreciated. Again, we enjoyed our stay but wish we had a few of the little things that can make a big difference during a vacation.
