Our small family running hotel is located in a pretty town of Spartia, which is on the south-west coast of Kefalonia.

There are lovely studios and 2 bedroom apartments. Recently renovated, the rooms are decorated in pastel colours and look very nice. Each has a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.

By this listing we offer a STUDIO with a double bed. In the studio, you will find a kitchenette with refrigerator, compact kitchen plate with 3 ring and mini-oven. There also isa closet, bathroom with WC/sink/shower and a balcony.

The hotel is surrounded by a wonderful, well-tended garden, where depending on the season our guests can enjoy oranges, plums, figs, and peaches. For tea, you can always rip a fresh lemon from a tree growing right there.

Time to time, we like to indulge the guests with homemade marmalade, eggs from our hens, freshly caught fish, and lovingly cooked hot dish.

We do our best to create a friendly, homely atmosphere and share our warmth and we are very happy that people gladly come back here year after year.

The beach of Termanti is about 800 m away. The main beach of Spartia is about 950 km away. A part of the road goes along the slope, so returning from the beach to the hotel can be somewhat tiresome. We think, it is necessary to have a car allowing you to reach the beaches in just 3-5 minutes.

Down below, you will find three taverns by the sea, where you can have breakfast, supper, and lunch.

The center of Spartia with a mini market and tavern is one kilometer away. The products and goods you need can be also ordered by phone, delivery is for free.

The nearest beaches - Termanti, Klimatsias, Ema, and Pessada are incredibly picturesque and original. They can boast of gentle sand, rocky ledges for diving as well as beautiful underwater grottoes.

Spartia is a quiet, small, pretty town. Hotels and villas are mixed here with small houses of local residents, which creates a special atmosphere - incredibly pleasant and warm. Slowly wandering along the evening streets of the town you seem to find yourself in another world - a cozy, hospitable, shrouded silence and the most delicate fragrance of herbs, the sea, and flowering shrubs.

Hospitality at its best. We got a really warm welcome by host Katerina, and throughout our stay she and her family were really helpful and kind. The apartment is clean and had everything we needed for our stay with our 1-year old son. The garden around the appartment is amazing and really coazy. We would love to go back one time :) There is no swimming pool, but the beach is really close (3 minutes drive).

We just LOVED our stay at Maria’s Studios!! Can’t say enough about the owners. They helped us with ferry route research when ferries were on strike and we had to modify our plans. They had a full meal waiting for us when we finally managed to arrive to their place. They greeted us with the best smiles like we were friends excepted! And they had upgraded us from the room to the appartement just because it was available. Their place is super cute, extremely clean, with a large yard/garden beautifully manicured. A 15 minute walk to the beach. So peaceful and gorgeous over all. I highly recommend Katarina and Angela’s place. Our stay was too short to enjoy to the fullest. We will have to return!!!

We loved our short stayings, everything: the house and its facilities, the garden and the little church, above all their truly mediterranean hospitality in which the Greeks are great masters. Hopefully we will come back next year.

A wonderful holiday, a wonderful location but above all else a truly wonderful family.. they were all so helpful, i think Katerina and her family are a truly magnificent family they were so friendly and so helpful. Always giving us treats and they are all so warm and welcoming... they even put up the hammock for us and then delivered cake while I relaxed and enjoyed the sun shine. The beach had a bit of a seaweed problem but they were working hard to it when we left... but if you walk around to the rocks you will be mesmorizd by the magnificent views and the ideal snorkelling spot.. so many fish... we sat on those rocks for hours... the apartment was spotlesssly clean.. then there is the goat herder who herds his goats past every day .... the sights and sounds and amazing smells of this epic area will astound you.....

The studio is very clean; the sheets and towels are replaced every third; it has a lovely balcony; the garden area is charming; the amenities are ok and we liked very much the design; they have a laundry (washer) to be used by the guests; the host Katerina and Angela are amazing people and very helpful!!!
