This welcoming apartment offers the charm of a vintage building with an updated kitchen. It's a spacious, 1100 square feet. Every room has hardwood floors and is beautifully lit with a full wall of windows. It's the full downstairs unit of a duplex. The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed and darkening shades. The second bedroom/office has a quality queen size sofa bed, darkening shades and an office chair, computer stand and a roll top desk. The living room and adjoiningdining room are full size. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The bathroom includes a shower and a bathtub. The linens are high quality. A driveway parking space for an average size car is included. (Larger size e.g. SUV may not fit.) You can easily walk to Lake Merritt, a library, a movie theater, and two extensive shopping areas. The house is located on a quiet residential street. There is a laundromat two blocks away.

This place felt like home by the end of the week. The bed was super comfortable, we enjoyed watching our Netflix series every evening, and I had no problem preparing several dishes to share at Thanksgiving dinner.

Can’t speak highly enough about our stay here! The apartment is wonderfully charming and cozy, incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Walkable to Lake Merritt and nearby restaurants and shops. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of unique homes and architecture, and is very quiet. We loved our stay and would absolutely return!
