The Neighborhood:

Just a few blocks North of Center City, Spring Garden is a calm neighborhood has significant cultural attractions. The architecture is mid-to-late 19th century, and the neighborhood has many restaurants and bars nearby. It is also much easier to park in this neighborhood than Center City, to take into account if you're coming by car!

It’s also a few minutes from the city’s most historic neighborhoods — including Old City and Society Hill — as well as many tourist attractions, on Independence Mall and elsewhere.

By its proximity to Center City, Spring Garden is the ideal choice for any traveler looking to travel by car, or looking for a quieter neighborhood while still enjoying all the benefits the city has to offer.

Getting Around:

Philadelphia, one of the country’s most walkable cities, is incredibly easy to navigate either by foot or by public transportation. That just leaves one question: Where to park the car

ON-SITE PARKING:

The building offers paid parking starting at $25/day (discounts for longer stays)

We’ll share the link to reserve your spot with them once you book.

ON-STREET PARKING

Philadelphia has thousands of metered spots throughout the city, perfect if you only plan to park for an hour or two. The area near this unit usually has a little street parking available. Be sure to read all parking signs very carefully before leaving your car to avoid ticketing and towing during hours in which parking may be prohibited.

OTHER OPTIONS

For moving around, you'll also find several bus stops, bike ride-sharing stations, and subway stations.

Otherwise, we recommend getting around the city using Uber or Lyft - its fairly affordable & we'd be happy to share discount codes with you!

Other Things to Note:

Other things to note:

- The gym is open from 7 am to 9 pm

- There is an accessible ramp at the left-hand side entrance of the building

- Parking details will be provided after booking. The gated lot has covered and uncovered options, and you are allowed to come and go as needed during your stay. Rates start at $25-$10(discounts for longer stays, with a cap of $300 per month)

- Pets are welcome for $25+tax/night (2 pet max, capped at $250+tax/month)

- $250 Security Deposit, or Damage Waiver, is to be collected at Check-In *

- ID photo and selfie submission are required for ID verification *

- Booking must be made by a guest 21+ years of age *

* These steps are required. Reservations are not eligible for refunds if these steps are not completed.

We surprisingly scored free parking right in front of the building. Our plan was to walk to a nearby venue on the next block over, and then into center city (about 1.5 miles away) and worked out perfectly leaving the car in the same spot the whole time. Check in was smooth. Staff and tenants were friendly. Key codes worked as they should. Our unit was on a front facing corner so we had great views of the city and a quiet stay. The AC worked nicely and the bed was firm and comfortable. The hot water heater in our unit needed a little recharge after each shower but obviously not a deal breaker. The apartment was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for a quick one-nighter.

    - Check in process took over an hour - The room we booked had not been cleaned - We were moved to another room, but had to vacate the second room to move back to the original room the next day and did not have access to a room between 9am and 5pm - It took over an hour to back get in to the original room on the second day (standing in a hallway, exhausted, with kids, next to another apartment where drug use was clearly happening) because the apartment manager could not reset the lock - The couch in the apartment is not the pull-out couch pictured - The lobby is dirty and desk attended is unaffiliated with the property managers and unable to assist - The neighborhood is scary - trash everywhere, people asking for handouts, run down buildings, rats, bouncers posted outside restaurants - VRBO was unhelpful with the situation

The Suite worked out great for us. We had a long term stay requiring the need for a nearby hospital. We were only half mile from everything we needed. Simon responded quickly to a couple of requests and we appreciated that.

Me and my mom stayed at the apartment for our trip to Philly. And we enjoyed the apartment very much. The host is excellent in communication. The unit is very clean and stocked with clean towels and coffee pods to get our day going which is excellent. The check in process is super easy. Both beds are very comfortable. The location is close to everything. Overall, a great choice with excellent services and host. Would definitely stay at the property again.

The apartment was bright and cheerful. We felt very comfortable inside which was important as I couldn't leave the apartment...doctors orders. We had our dogs with us also. The location was most challenging outside when walking the dogs. The street was littered with trash or broken glass. That was disappointing. Otherwise a nice place.

We loved the building for it's location, cleanliness, and safety. We were able to walk to Chinatown and Center City with ease and we felt safe and cozy inside. It was also very convenient to have on site parking and not have to deal with the hassle of finding and paying for parking each time we left the room. When we arrived our first evening, we were starving and were delighted to find a restaurant and bar located on the premises as well. I will definitely be booking here again for our next trip to Philly.

Nice place to stay, clean, simple and comfortable. Although the livingroom photo is not a true picture of what living room area is like now, needs to be updated.

This apartment was right around the corner from my client and was the perfect place to stay for several days. Much better than a hotel. It was clean, spacious, had great views, comfortable bed and ample kitchen ware to make my own dinners. Would absolutely stay here again!
