The condo was fine, but it was very sparse, no extra blankets or amenities. Fine. But, the dog park on the roof was closed, which was a KEY consideration when booking downtown because I am disabled and have a service dog. When I asked the very rough looking person at the front desk where I should walk my dog, they replied You? You should not be on this street after dark. You walk in front of the door and I will keep an eye on you. I did not feel safe in the neighborhood, the plants in the flowerboxes were all dead, it was arguably one of the worst VRBO experiences I have had. I asked to be moved, but the owner would not move me, despite safety and handicap concerns.

The concierge on duty upon our arrival was very helpful and kind. We had a concern with our unit bc the balcony door did not lock, but the property manager quickly agreed to move us to another unit and upon discovering I didn't have sufficient towels they promptly brought us more. Pros: Econimcial. Onsite paid/gated parking. Unit was plenty big enough and relatively quiet (excluding emergency vehicles and people gunning engines on the street). management responses quickly to our concerns. the building's concierge was incredibly helpful. There are several good places to eat within a block or two walking distance (we especially enjoyed Juno). Cons: the neighborhood is a bit sketchy with a significant homeless population nearby (we had NO issues--no one bothered us as we walked to/from dinners--but we did not feel entirely safe, either). The on-site restaurant left the front doors propped open several evenings, which defeated the purpose of having a a keyed access security system, again leaving us feeling less than safe in the area. The lobby smells really weird (reminded me of cat urine, but it's probably not that causing the smell). If you are driving, pay for the onsite/gated parking bc the street parking in the area is a bear.

We enjoyed our stay. It was walking distance to Reading Terminal and much of downtown. The SoSuite managers were extremely responsive to any issue/request. There was ample parking. The apt is nice & spacious. We would stay in this building again.

My fiancé & I really liked this loft with high ceilings & large windows. The balcony was a great relaxation space as well. The full kitchen, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms were all very clean gave a very home like feel. Will likely return to this loft on my next trip to Philly

This place was really clean. It included a washing machine/dryer and parking. The decor was modern and cute. The TV was easy to use. The bedrooms were bright with the tall windows. We walked to several breweries. The RAIL PARK is a few blocks away. All the things the owner could control were excellent. We loved the bottle waters and the snacks left for us. We loved the balcony, but the walls are so tall you can not see over it. The temperature control was easy to use. There wasn't carpeting or items on the walls. The place had an echo. I would stay here again. The neighborhood was loud. The party noises echoed in the ally most of the night. The smell of cleaning products in the hallway was too strong. FOX NEWS was on in the lobby. Anti African American rhetorical flooded the lobby. It was disgusting to be forced to negative Black American commentary while I was stuck waiting for a very slow elevator. Hateful rhetoric, just hateful! However... I would and will definitely stay here again if hateful TV isn't on. The parking was important. Heads up.. the extra fees were as much as our two night stay. The extra fees are steep for a short stay, but reasonable for a week stay.
