    We found the location on cochburn Street just between the Royal Mile and the main train station to be very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. there's a lot of nightlife on the street, and that made two of the four bedrooms a bit noisy.Overall I don't think we could have chosen a nicer place as homebase for a few days of travel and sightseeing.That did make two of BIT bit night

    Apartment was clean and close to a variety of places we wanted to visit while in Edinburgh. My only complaints were that there were quite a few stairs for one member of our party to get up to the unit, and also that there was a festival going on the day of our arrival. Not being from the area, we were going around in circles, and we couldn't get close to the rental because roads were blocked off for the event. This would have been a nice to know piece of information. We somehow finally figured it out after some very frayed nerves.

    My family and I were thoroughly disappointed with this property. The photos in the online listing were very deceiving. Listed as “sophisticated”, the place was old and dingy. We had a difficult time getting in as the door locks were extremely sticky and hardly functional. Inside, the doors and floors were so creaky, the whole family woke up every time someone entered or left or even walked on the floor. The wi-fi would not work, the AC was not functional, and there were literally junkies using drugs in the stairwell of the property and spending the night there. Unsafe, dirty, old, terrible.

    Fantastic location, fantastic stay! The whole visit was wonderful overall with only one hiccup that addressed immediately. One of the front bedroom doors locked and we needed a key to get back in it. Someone from maintenance came out and found the extra keys (they are different from the front door keys) that were hidden. The owners were extremely quick to respond to all questions we had and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks so much!!!
