Secluded Murphy Vacation Rental w/ Private Hot Tub

Loved everything about this home away from home! Our trip to the mountains was so relaxing, and we had total peace of mind knowing our dog settled in so well here too. The home is beautiful and truly stocked with everything a couple could possibly need on vacation.The location is perfect—an easy drive to the Smoky Mountain National Park and the highest point in Georgia. Murphy itself is such a quaint, artsy town with lots of fun shops to explore.Highly recommend this rental!

The hot tub could have been hotter and it did not seem like the jets were as strong as they should be. Also, the rooms could greatly benefit from some ceiling fans. It was very warm. The owners were very friendly and made us feel very much at home. Made my dog feel welcome as well. We will definately stay here again.

The place was spotless, hot tub was so clean and great and easy to access. The view and ambience were just stunning. Definitely would stay again.

This was a great selection for our extended stay. Nice location in the woods with good access. Easy check-in and checkout. Had plenty of room for my wife and I plus our cat. Very clean and very well stocked. Kitchen was very functional with most everything needed for eating in including an outdoor grill. Host had a lot of informational books and flyers for activities to check out in the area if interested. Lots of good hiking. Place is very comfortable and all the wood inside gives you that great cabin feeling. We loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings, the couch swing is very cool. The hot tub deck and fire pit area were great. The host's were there on and off during our long stay and visited with them at check-in and out and some in-between. Very friendly and really didn't know they were there unless we were coming or going and saw them. Lots of wildlife to watch in the area too between the drive in and while at the property. We felt very at home and loved our stay; we really didn't want to leave. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this listing for our 21st anniversary getaway because we thought we’d be alone for the duration of our trip; however, after the cancellation period of the trip, we learned that the owners could possibly be at the property, their “vacation” home, during our stay. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival, assuming they’d leave after greeting us, but we were mistaken and spent most of the trip attempting to make our toy poodle pup comfortable in a different environment while listening to them move around about our heads during the majority of our time there. Needless to say, we’ll never book a property in someone’s “vacation” home, as we would’ve simply gotten a hotel room if we wanted to be under someone’s feet. We had to empty a water reservoir from the dehumidifier, which was also very loud and bothered us and the pup. The bed was hard, and my wife and I kept hitting our legs on the frame of the bed; we were more uncomfortable, stiff, and sore during the trip than we’d arrived and ended up leaving the night before our checkout just to get a more comfortable sleep in our own bed without injuring ourselves every time we walked around the bed. Truly, we were ready to leave the moment we learned they’d be there, as we felt like guests in someone’s home, rather than paying customers.

This cabin In Murphy was the perfect mountain weekend getaway. It is a bottom level stay but that was not a problem. The host were there while we were there and we met them when we first got there and spoke to them when we left but we had 100% of the amenities which was so nice! and we felt like we were the only ones there. We grilled one night and had everything we needed. Even saw the Northern Lights. It was a short drive to the town of Murphy as well as Blue Ridge. 100% recommend !!

The house was clean and comfortable. Perfect for me, my husband and two kids! Nice sized kitchen. We loved the fire pit and hot tub was already hot and ready to use! The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It is well laid-out for its size, and had a lot of little extra amenities, in case you forgot something. The porch, hot tub deck, and fire pit area were great. It is nestle in a forested spot that is very peaceful. We had an internet outage due to a storm that came through, and our hosts were responsive and helpful in doing what they could on their end to get it resolved. Communication overall was pleasant and in a timely manner.
