Stayed Jun 27, 2025I am only writing this review in the hopes of getting the attention of VRBO management after numerous emails and phone calls to customer service with no resolution.I originally booked a different property, but it was canceled days before my stay. Fortunately, the Seacliff property was available but due to the last-minute booking and high season, the rate was substantially higher then my original booking and out of my price range.However, after my initial phone call to VRBO. Syed in customer service assured me both via phone and email that they would help and guaranteed to reimburse the difference in price for the new reservation. Syed was efficient and addressed the issue promptly.Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-ups once handed over to Mohit for reimbursement. I have yet to receive the full amount promised . This has been a frustrating experience, as VRBO has not upheld their commitment as promised. That said, my stay at Seacliff was wonderful! The property itself exceeded expectations. The unit was larger than anticipated from the photos, exceptionally clean, and very quiet. The direct private stair access to the beach was a huge plus, and I would highly recommend booking this property directly through Paradise Retreats in Santa Barbara for a more affordable rate.I truly hope VRBO will address this outstanding issue promptly and honor their guarantee and fulfill the verbal and email-written promise that they committed to reimburse me.
