Scenic South Main Apartment with Breathtaking Views for 3 Guests

Perfect location, really enjoyed the bacony! Apartment is spacious and lovely!. One word of caution...there are steep stairs to climb. But totally worth it!

OMG the pictures look nice but trust me, deceptive. Yes you can see Main Street and the river from your room but the balcony is on the 2nd floor, your room is on the 3rd.The balcony cushions were dirty; no hangers or soap for dishes; the picture doesn't show the window air conditioner that had a clean filter light on. I cleaned the filter best I could but the light stayed on. A couple of days later I noticed 2 dryer sheets inside...maybe to make it smell better. It sounded like a truck was outside but it was the a/c that kept kicking on. Plus little bugs could get inside since the a/c only had the plastic slides to widen it to window width. The Dryer vent wasn't connected to the outside (it had been taped shut with painters tape that came undone). And on day 7 after a storm, the ceiling next to the bed was dripping water. I finally called to get out of there.I have another whole story about the outside where the entry from the back had steps falling apart and peeling railings. yuk

This property is right on Main Street in St. Charles. It’s very clean and the host was immediately responsive. The view from the front porch overlooks historic Main St, a beautiful park and the river. We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful experience. Private parking spot close to the unit. 1800s construction so staircase is a tad steep but after a few runs on it, we settled right in and never thought about it again. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. Great view onto Main Street. Location was perfect for Christmas shopping, taking our haul back to the room and setting out again for more shopping. Plenty of places to eat. Just a great experience.

Great location. St. Charles Main Street is easily walkable. Enjoyed the pubs, restaurants and shopping.

The air conditioner was broken and we couldn’t stay there at all. Did get a full refund.

The property was stunning and the location couldn’t be better. Wonderful for a romantic getaway. The host was very kind and as helpful as one could hope. I highly recommend staying here!

As advertised. This was a work stay and location was close and convenient. Only thing that didn't work for me was brightness of the room and street noise during the day as I am a light sleeper. But probably not an issue for people who follow regular schedules. Great little balcony and back porch.

Clean in downtown st Charles came with free gym access too something we used 2x and appreciated. There are some steps so able bodies only.

We recently spent 7 days at this property. The location is unbeatable...in the heart of the historic St. Charles retail and restaurant district. Jeff was exceptionally attentive to our every need and expectation. Very spacious and clean. Looking forward to our next stay at this property.
