This was my second visit to the Pleasant Hill property. It then felt like home away from home. The layout is so accomodating. Our college girl decided she would like to live there instead of the dorm. It was my husband's first visit. He loved the place and said he definitely would return. Matt and Carrie are just the nicest people that you may encounter.

This place was a real treasure. The apartment is in the bottom story of the home with floor to ceiling windows, showcasing the beautiful creek. We bumped into Carrie & Matt as we were arriving and they were generous to rattle off a few great hiking and food recommendations - we loved these! The hosts have done everything to make their cabin cozy and welcoming. Small flashlights on the nightstands, available toiletries, firm/quality mattresses, plenty of kitchenware - we loved all the small touches. We spent hours outside on the porch reading and talking and enjoying the view. Thanks for a great weekend!

This was a fantastic location and satisfying stay. The accommodations exceeded our expectation so much so we tried to rent it again, but the date we needed was unavailable. Highly recommend staying here.

Its a perfect getaway if someone wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was a beautiful house located at the banks of lake. We wanted to visit Hocking Hills State Park and this location was just 40 mins drive from there. A perfect place to relax.

Wonderful apartment in the woods under Owner's residence. View of woods and lake was beautiful. Minutes away from OU campus. Owner was very thoughtful with amenities and have the place set up nicely for guests. Pet friendly. We will come back again!

Hosts are very nice

Great stay! Our old blind dog settled in easy and we were able to enjoy the weekend with our Ohio Bobcat! Well stocked kitchen, also had backup toiletries etc just in case. Pleasant Hill Winery is just down the road and Shade Winery is about 10 mins away. This was the least ‘buggy’ place we have tried in the area. Very well done and enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely experience! The apartment is in a treed area overlooking a lake… a variety of amenities and supplies were provided. We enjoyed getting to know Athens, Ohio and exploring Shrouds Run State Park. Pleasant Hill Vineyard and Little Fish Brewery were two highlights! Thank you! We hope to stay there again.

I had a very pleasant 5 night stay. Very peaceful location. It is a huge apartment with everything you could need. It was a great home base to ride the motorcycle roads of the Windy 9.

Second time staying at this property. It was just as wonderful as the first time!
