It was charming, clean and well maintained. Communication was excellent and very helpful. The location is well-suited for exploring the city.

Responsive, prompt, helpful - great management of this property, a pleasure! The neighborhood is one of my favorites and has a fabulous farmers market on Sunday. It and was extremely quiet - except for a sweet late-night encounter with a fox on the street below my window (they have an eerie cry that almost sounds human).

The flat and the neighbourhood both surpassed our expectations! Both were absolutely lovely! The communication with the host and checkin were both wonderful too!

Excellent except that the furnishings were a bit tired and in need of replacement. Window molding in living room kept falling off.

The apartment is absolutely lovely. Sun streams into the kitchen in the morning and the sitting room in the evening. It was incredibly hot during our stay (highly unusual for Scotland) but by opening the large front and rear windows, a lovely draught quickly cooled the flat and kept it cool. The apartment was incredibly quiet, more countryside than city centre and it was a real pleasure to spend time there. It is well equipped and we found everything we needed, although we did not cook, only using the oven once.At the moment, there is building work going on in the property above. This did not disturb us at all and the builders were exceptionally courteous and considerate.I used the victorian Glenogle Swim centre next door. It is a beautifully maintained pool, with gym, sauna etc. and a real pleasure to have so close. The apartment was very clean and well presented, but would now benefit from some upgrading of the sofas, paintwork etc. Some general maintenance is also required. These are a very quick fix - toilet slow to fill, bulbs for the soft lights under the units in the kitchen, new sink plugs, a new pulley or drying rack for the utility room. The hot water tap on the bathroom sink is loose. The particulars say there is a garden. There is no access to a garden from the apartment.Contact with the host was really good and they were both helpful and responsive. Overall, we had a wonderful time in an absolutely delightful apartment in a beautiful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. It is updated and nicely furnished. The location was perfect as it is about a mile to the historic sites, but also provides a respite from the crowds since it is located in a nice residential area. Excellent restaurants and shops within 1/2 mile. It is walkable, and Uber/taxis are available for reasonable fees. Notes to consider - the flat is on the second floor (if have mobility issues); building is older (as is every building in the area), so apartment shows some age even though well maintained (for some that makes it more charming, others used to modernized hotels, etc. may not prefer).

The apartment was great for a visit to Edinburgh. We were a bit conscious of the neighbours on the floor below, with two young children but didn’t cause any issues. Location was about 20 min walk from the city center but was only about 8 in a taxi.

Large apartment, central location, quiet area, property needs updating, the 2 single beds too small for adults. Property needs cleaning, toilet seat is wooden and old, toilet not flushing on first, or second flush. Shower is over the bath and the water not draining away obviously blocked with skin and hair!!! Lighting in kitchen dull. Furniture dirty, rugs dirty. This apartment is situated in a prime location inside needs sorting out urgently.

Upon arrival the property was very cold. Two radiators were broken and the gas fire was not working. The property manager was responsive but it took more than 24 hours to resolve. The beds were small and terribly uncomfortable and the shower needs the drain cleared as well as some maintenance.Surprisingly there is no parking permit with the property so parking is very expensive.Overall we left a day early and although I submitted all this feedback directly to the property manager more than 2 days ago, I am yet to receive a response from them.

We had a most enjoyable and peaceful stay at the lovely flat. We adored hanging out in the enormous kitchen. It was really easy to explore and drop in and out of the flat during the day.

Roomy apartment in a great location, handy for stockbridge walks and 20 mins walk to the old town. The apartment is in need of some TLC, some parts looking a little sad.

Great location in a quiet corner of stockbridge. There is a great kitchen and living room. The twin bedroom however was tiny- OK for two children but very small for two adults to share. The bathroom was a good size but poor cistern on the only toilet in the flat which takes an age to fill. Communication was not very swift. On our last day there was an issue with the kitchen sink leaking and the office number went straight to ansaphone until 9.40 and the emergency number did not pick up. There is no parking permit provided with the property and getting a non permit space in the area was very difficult. The nearest 'my parking space' was 10 mins walk away. It would be a perfect stay for 2 or 3 people without a vehicle.

This lovely flat is in a very quiet part of Stockbridge but close to lots of shops, restaurants and the Botanic Garden. I could walk to Princes St. in 20 minutes. We really enjoyed the greenery out front, and the light and views from the windows. We were also delighted to realize the entrance to the Glenogle Baths was 20 feet from our front door. We had some minor issue to which the property manager responded immediately and very helpfully. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, salt and a lot of other useful things, and there was plenty of laundry and dishwasher detergent. I would be happy to come back here.

The flat is in a perfect location in Stockbridge. It’s a nicely decorated Georgian flat that was very comfortable for us and. The communication with management was prompt. The kitchen was our favorite as it’s a great space with a larger table for dining, a beautiful view from the window and nicely appointed dishes and cookware. The location is very quiet and it’s an easy walk to downtown Stockbridge. The only drawback is that there are quite a few steps to climb to get up to the apartment. Its cumbersome if you have a lot of bags but this wasn’t a show stopper for us.

We adored the flat and location. The apartment does need a little TLC. The shower leaked on to the floor no matter what we tried and looks like it has been for some time. We could not open the kitchen window, and the laundry closet was very dirty. Apart from that, we would absolutely stay again!

I used to live in the area and now live in Australia, so was looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting friends and family. We felt right at home and loved being back in the heart of Stockbridge. A lovely peaceful street, and as a swimmer I loved having Glenogle pool 20 steps from the front door. Everything you need is within a short walk - shops, pubs, restaurants, the Botanics, buses. Can’t wait to come back again next year. Didn’t want to leave!
