Wee Grange is a stylish one-bedroomed apartment forming a self contained annexe to a historic village home in the outskirts of Bath. On two floors, with its own courtyard garden, this romantic bolthole is the perfect base for exploring the World Heritage City of Bath, and the beautiful surrounding countryside of Somerset and Wiltshire. Entering at ground level you will find the kitchen/dining area, with its flagstone floors and tudor fireplace. The historic is complemented by the modern, andyou will want for nothing in this kitchen, with its uptodate appliances, including oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is the tastefully styled sitting room, overlooking the historic Village High Street. Listen to the gentle gurgle of the dogshead trough in the street below, or be sure not to miss your favourite sporting fixture with full Sky sports package provided. Move onto the bedroom, with its comfortable double bed bedecked in high quality linens, with stone mullioned window and window seat overlooking the village high street. An ensuite bathroom completes the picture; elegant stone wall and floor tiling is complemented by gleaming fittings, and a thermostatically controlled rainhead shower over the bath. Enjoy a glass of wine in the private courtyard garden after a day's exploring. Walk into Bath in a half hour along the picturesque Kennet & Avon Canal. Take a short stroll to one of the village's two historic pubs for your evening meal, one on the Canal, another on the river, and both a few minutes' walk away. Leave your car in the village and take a quick bus trip into town -or take the scenic route by water taxi from the Bathampton Mill straight to the centre of town. Cycle to the historic Dundas Aqueduct and beyond to Bradford upon Avon along the Canal, or drive to one of the many major sites a short distance away - from National Trust properties, to historic Salisbury, to the beautiful Cotswolds, to cosmoplitan Bristol. Wee Grange offers you a peaceful, elegant retreat from your days' exploration, and a convenient launchpad to all that this beautiful part of the country has to offer.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed in immensely. The cottage has a wonderful homey feel to it. It was comfortable and cozy. I really enjoyed the living area being able to open the windows with the wisteria growing around the windows. It was about a 35 minute walk into Bath and going via the canal was wonderful. The scenery was fabulous. It’s a small but lively area. I would gladly return to this area and this beautiful cottage.Annie , the host was lovely. She offered many suggestions for things to do and where to eat. We really enjoyed Bath. Such a lovely city

This listing was the perfect place for us to have our minimoon. We enjoyed how close it was to the canal as we had decided to walk into Bath city centre each day, and it was a lovely walk. The area is lovely and quiet, and as a host, Annie was lovely, the communication we had with her was timely and she provided extensive directions to find the property which was very helpful. Overall, a lovely stay and would stay again.

I stayed a month here and found the cottage to be a home away from home. The hosts have thought of every little detail to make even a long stay very comfortable. The furnishing is vintage and lovely and the bed very comfortable. I cooked in the kitchen, did laundry and hang it out on the line to dry, went for long walks along the canal, fed swans and ducks and petted little cats sunning themselves. It really was idealic after living in New York City. I got in my steps by walking to Bath every morning for coffee (40 minutes). Highly recommend.

We spent 2 weeks in this great accommodation. From the beginning we felt very comfortable. The location of the apartment is excellent. You can walk very nice along the canal to Bath. A supermarket is also close by. We have made trips to Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Lacock, Durham Park, Castle Combe, Durdle Door, Wells, Sudeley Castle, Bourton on the water..... Everything is very easy to reach in 1 to 2 hours. The apartment is exactly as described and very lovingly furnished.
