House Rules, Guest Responsibilities and Cleaning Terms

Welcome to Aganmore Farm Glamping. We want you to have a lovely, relaxing and memorable stay with us. To help keep the cabins comfortable, clean and enjoyable for all guests, we kindly ask that you read and follow the house rules below.

These terms are intended to protect the standard of the accommodation and ensure each guest enjoys the same high-quality experience.

Occupancy and Registered Guests

Each glamping cabin has a maximum occupancy limit, which must not be exceeded under any circumstances.

Only guests included on the original booking are permitted to stay overnight. If additional, unregistered guests are found to be staying overnight, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to apply an additional charge equivalent to 50% of the booking fee.

Visitors may only attend the site with prior agreement from Aganmore Farm Glamping.

Respecting the Cabins

Please treat our cabins with care and respect during your stay.

We kindly ask guests to leave the cabin in a clean and tidy condition, similar to how it was found on arrival. General cleaning is included as part of your stay, but where additional cleaning is required due to misuse, excessive mess, staining, damage or failure to follow these guidelines, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost of additional cleaning, specialist cleaning, repair or replacement where required.

Shoes, Mud and Outdoor Use

To help us keep the cabins clean and comfortable:

Please do not wear outdoor shoes inside the cabin.
Please avoid bringing muddy footwear, clothing or wet outdoor items into the main living and sleeping areas.
Please do not place muddy items on beds, sofas, chairs or soft furnishings.
Bedding, pillows, throws, cushions and indoor soft furnishings must not be taken outside.

Where additional cleaning is required due to mud, grass, outdoor use or misuse of indoor furnishings, a reasonable additional cleaning or replacement charge may be applied.

Linen, Towels and Staining

Guests are asked to take care when using fake tan, make-up, body oils, hair dye, sun cream, food, drink or any other products that may stain bedding, towels, soft furnishings, carpets or mattresses.

Where items are left heavily stained, damaged, or unable to be cleaned through our normal laundry process, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the guest for the reasonable cost of additional cleaning, specialist laundry or replacement of the affected item.

For clarity, this may include, but is not limited to, staining caused by fake tan, make-up, oils, hair dye, mud, food, drink, hot tub use or taking indoor linen or towels outside.

Used towels should be left in the bathroom before departure for our staff to collect.

Hot Tub Use

Instructions for the hot tub will be available in the cabin when you arrive. Please read and follow these carefully.

For your safety and to help us maintain the hot tub for future guests:

Please shower before using the hot tub, especially if wearing fake tan, make-up, sun cream, body oils or lotions.
Please do not use the hot tub immediately after applying fake tan, as this can affect the water quality and may stain the tub, filters, towels or surrounding surfaces.
Please only use plastic glasses around the hot tub.
Glass bottles, glasses or breakable items must not be used in or around the hot tub area.
Please do not eat food in the hot tub.
Please do not add bubble bath, soaps, oils, bath products, alcohol or any other substances to the hot tub water.
Please replace the hot tub lid securely after use to help retain heat and protect the water.
Please open and close the hot tub lid carefully.
The hot tub should not be used if alcohol has been consumed to excess.

If the hot tub requires additional cleaning, draining, refilling, chemical treatment, filter replacement or repair due to misuse, contamination, fake tan, glass, food, drink or other substances, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost of restoring the hot tub to its proper condition.

If glass is broken in or near the hot tub, the hot tub may need to be fully drained, cleaned and checked before it can safely be used again. In this situation, the reasonable cost of cleaning, refilling, loss of use or replacement parts may be charged.

BBQ Use

Guests are welcome to use the BBQ provided.

If you use the BBQ, please clean it thoroughly afterwards and leave it in a suitable condition for the next guest. All utensils, cookware and BBQ equipment used during your stay should be washed, dried and returned to their designated place.

Where the BBQ is left excessively dirty or damaged, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost of additional cleaning, repair or replacement.

Utensils, Cookware and Kitchen Items

Please clean any utensils, dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery, pans or cookware used during your stay. These should be dried and returned to their proper place before departure.

Any accidental breakages should be reported to us as soon as possible. We understand that accidents can happen, but where items are damaged, broken or missing, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable replacement cost.

Breakages, Damage and Missing Items

We kindly ask guests to report any breakages, damage or missing items during their stay or before departure.

This may include, but is not limited to:

Broken glasses, mugs, plates or kitchenware
Damaged furniture, fixtures or fittings
Damage to beds, mattresses, sofas or soft furnishings
Stained or damaged bedding, towels or carpets
Damage caused by misuse of the hot tub, BBQ or cabin facilities
Missing towels, bedding, kitchen items, remote controls, keys or other cabin contents

Where damage, breakages or missing items are identified, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost of repair, replacement or additional cleaning.

We will always aim to deal with this fairly and proportionately.

Septic Tank and Bathroom Use

As we are located in the countryside, the cabins use a septic tank system. Please only flush toilet paper.

Sanitary products, wipes, nappies, cotton pads and any other items must not be flushed and should be placed in the bin provided.

If the septic system becomes blocked or damaged due to unsuitable items being flushed, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge the reasonable cost of call-out, repair or cleaning.

Rubbish Disposal

Please place all rubbish in the main bins provided at the car park before departure.

Please do not leave food waste, rubbish, bottles or packaging inside the cabin, outside the cabin, or around the hot tub area.

Where excessive rubbish or mess is left behind, an additional cleaning charge may be applied.

Lights, Windows and Security

Before leaving the cabin or checking out, please ensure that:

All lights are turned off
Windows are closed
The door is locked
The hot tub lid is securely closed
The key is returned to the lock box

This helps us conserve energy, maintain security and prepare the cabin for the next guest.

Keys

Please do not take the cabin keys off site. Keys should be returned to the lock box when leaving the cabin.

Lost keys are charged at £35 to replace.

If keys are not returned and this causes additional security concerns, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to charge for any reasonable additional costs incurred.

Noise and Peaceful Enjoyment

Aganmore Farm Glamping is a peaceful countryside location. We ask all guests to respect the setting, other guests, neighbours and the surrounding farm environment.

Please keep noise to a reasonable level, particularly during the evening and night-time.

Parties, loud music or disruptive behaviour are not permitted.

Where guests cause disturbance, damage or disruption to other guests or the property, Aganmore Farm Glamping reserves the right to ask guests to leave and/or apply reasonable charges for any resulting damage or additional cleaning.

Gates, Farm Setting and Outdoor Areas

Please ensure all field gates are closed after use. We are located on a working rural site, and open gates can create safety issues for animals and guests.

Guests should take care when walking around the site, especially in wet weather or low light.

This was a perfect basecamp for all the activities and sights in the area. We chose this location primarily for it's proximity to the Royal Portrush GC. It was a beautiful and mere 25 min. car ride to the GC, not to mention close proximity to other popular attractions such as the Dunluce Castle, Giants' Causeway, and rope bridge. The views from the pods are amazing and very serene. The hot tub was fabulous and the pods are beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The welcome basket with a bottle of wine and snacks was a very nice addition as well. The town of Ballycastle is a very short drive and offers quaint restaurants and shops. The owners/hosts are also very charming and provided great information on the area. We highly recommend Aganmore Farms!
