Rejuvenate Your Spirit At This Private Studio Near Downtown Nevada City

I was very comfortable and enjoyed the cottage so much. It was convenient to town and all the restaurants. A drive of five minutes is nothing and if you choose to walk, it’s enjoyable. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay. A lovely little artsy place to get away.

The location was quiet and comfortable and perfectly situated for what I needed and wanted to do!

My short get away was wonderful everything about the studio was exactly as described :)Check in easy, wifi access great, relaxing environment, TV, a quiet yard setting, very clean and colorful surroundings, full kitchen, and parking. Also, close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and various shops.This is my second visit going to be planning my 3rd visit soon. Louisa G

I stayed at the property for a few weeks. The check in process was simple and easy. The place was very clean and orderly. The kitchen had all the necessities such as utensils, pots, pans and plates, along with some additional items like a rice cooker, blender, and salt and pepper that made it so much easier to make meals. The landlord was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The area was nice and quiet with good scenery of the forest. I'd highly recommend this place, and I would definitely come back when I visit the area again.

Perfect little studio for one and maybe two if you get along with each other! The small amenities like good coffee and oatmeal were a nice treat. So close to town which is walkable or a few minutes by car. The cemetery across the street is very cool and not creepy at all!

First, we enjoyed staying here for three nights, but it isn't a typical VRBO. It's more like a very nicely-appointed hotel room with a full kitchen and backyard. Our stay was in July and we tried to spend as much time in the backyard as anyone possibly can when the high temp for the day is 105. It is full of birds and hummingbirds, a few mosquitos, but not enough to need repellant. The garage is just a 10 to 15 minute walk to Nevada City's historic district and an uphill climb to get back. Good exercise. Overall, for the price and location, I highly recommend this property.

Cozy little cottage. Great communications with host during booking, and provided clear instructions about everything. Very quiet and restful, and had a great little outdoor area to relax in. Didn't use the kitchen area but seemed well equipped.

The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 1 or 2 people: full kitchen, spacious bathroom, sitting area with 2 chairs, and dining counter with 2 bar stools. There is a private garden space directly outside the french doors that serve as the entrance to the unit. The access to the studio is through a side gate with a gravel walkway and some steps, so for those with mobility issues it might not be a great fit. 5 minutes' drive into Nevada City, but in a quiet location. Although there are motion-activated lights, it's helpful to have a flashlight when coming and going after dark. I'd be happy to stay again when in the area - it's a charming and cozy studio.
