Recharge in Lush Gardens in the Heart of Bernal Heights

Lovely space with a proactive host who reached out before our stay. Full kitchen is available for your cooking needs and I appreciated the water filter in the fridge. The location is perfect. We walked plenty to Holly Park and Bernal Heights Park with the most extraordinary of views. Make sure to make a visit to Martha's for coffee and the lucky Horseshoe for a good evening out. Would absolutely stay at this spot again.**Be aware that there is family noise in the early morning hours and the evening hours, so if you plan to sleep past 630am I would have earplugs in.

Great place for Bernal Heights

We enjoyed our stay in Bernal Heights. The apartment has a great location. The neighborhood is very walkable and it's easy to walk or get buses to other parts of the city. We loved going up to the top of Bernal Hill to see the sunset and visit with the local dogs.The kitchen is well stocked and the living spaces are comfortable. It was noisy, though. The host family lives upstairs, and their ordinary footsteps were thunderous for us down below. This is probably due to how the building is constructed and not something they can help. Also - tall people will want to watch their heads when going in and out of the front door, since has a low top.We had a great week and very much enjoyed spending time in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, this stay didn’t go as expected. At first glance, it is a beautiful place and in a great neighborhood! On our second night, we heard rustling near the kitchen and the following morning found that a rodent had eaten through our unopened feminine products. We contacted the host and she was responsive but didn’t provide a helpful solution in that moment. She also mentioned they had been dealing with this issue, which is unfortunate because she didn’t provide a warning of any sort prior to our stay. In the end, we had to find another place. When this issue gets sorted, I would highly recommend it.

The apartment was so comfortable and was perfect for a mature couple like us.

Fun weekend stay in Bernal Heights. The place looked great cozy, but the bed sofa bed were VERY uncomfortable.A few things:• The Dining room lights did not turn on.• Maybe, ya'll could invest in better pieces of furniture for sleeping, cause they were soo uncomfortable.• The Washer took too long to for a Quick Wash.Overall, nice stay.

The apartment is perfectly located for our needs in the Bernal Heights area. We were able to walk everywhere. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and stores a short walk away. Parking was easy to find.The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. It had a very nice shower head and all the convenience of home. Although we didn’t really cook there, the kitchen was well stocked with the basic necessities. They have a couple of choices for making coffee. If you choose the Nespresso Virtuo, make sure to bring your own pods. We would definitely stay there again, though don’t count on sleeping in after 6:30 am if you are a light sleeper. The owners were extremely responsive to any inquiries and it was easy to communicate before and during our stay.

Came to visit for a quick stay, and plan to return next week for an extended stay. Location was ideal for our needs. There is ample room for 2 people. We didn't do any cooking, but plan to eat breakfast on our next stay. The kitchen seem well equipped for our needs. The bathroom was very clean, and the owner was very responsive when we requested additional towel.

Property was exactly as described. Host was great at communicating.

Marie and Laurent's accommodations here are wonderful. And the location is perfect, one block from great dining and shopping. The views of the City from here are breathtaking, just a short walk up the hill.

Very nice palve

Two short blocks, slight hill, to Cortland St with its frequent bus route and choice of restaurants, as well as a good grocery. Owners who live above have active kids but it was no bother to us.

We had a wonderful long weekend here, and look forward to returning when we next visit SF. The place is exactly as pictured: clean, light, well-appointed, and in a fantastic Bernal Heights location. The owners were extremely responsive and kind. We are so happy to find a good place to stay in SF and highly recommend it!

Great neighborhood close to several coffee shops, grocery store and restaurants. Nice parks in the area. Plenty of transportation available. Bernal Heights is a very happening spot.
