Stayed Jun 2, 2025I’m leery to post reviews before knowing what the host wrote, but… My wife and I were spending our 10-year anniversary in Oahu. It was difficult, a year out, finding a property A) essentially “on the beach” B) affordable and C) quality.Cathy’s place hits all these markers. Great location, not too pricey, beautiful place.

Stayed May 9, 2025This place was perfect! North shore is the place to stay if you visit Oahu. No big crowds and a very laid back and chill environment. This house met our needs perfectly. We stayed for 10 days and wished we could do another 10. AC unit worked fantastic and had all the necessities you need for a stay. Also had beach chairs and umbrellas and some other miscellaneous beach gear for our use. Very very happy to stay here

Stayed Apr 9, 2025Hreat location. Good food nearby. Great beach justvacross the street. Read the reviews, there is an attached house that is rented out separately. The only issue we had as other have stated was the lack of blinds. It needs a set of blinds on the windows between the batroomnand the other house. One you walk out of the bathroom you can see the deck and they can see you.

Stayed Sep 10, 2024We just loved the property! Check in was easy, the cottage was perfect for us! We loved the beautiful new couch. Our first visit to Ohua did not disappoint ? we definitely recommend staying there. Hopefully its not booked for our next trip! staying at this location

Stayed Aug 19, 2024Fantastic property with everything you need, just across the road from sunset beach. Perfect for one person or a couple. Loved the outdoor shower too. However the lack of privacy and noise was a bit of an issue - no blinds or curtains on any of the windows, and the bamboo next to the house will hang loudly on the house all night with any wind

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This was an extremely beautiful and peaceful cottage. Great location away from the tourist and business of Waikiki and Honolulu . With a short walk to Sunset Beach at end of the driveway. Would recommend renting car for this location to explore the island at your leisure but if not something you want to do you can get here via bus. We had such an amazing experience with this beautiful little cozy place to call home while visiting.Would highly recommend and definitely be booking again in near future.

Stayed May 19, 2024This place is awesome. Small cute for one person (or a couple) on the north shore a good alternative to a hotel stay in Waikiki if u want peace and quiet. The only gripe, ooooooo only gripe. No ac. But there's enough windows and fans to get a tunnel ram going. I'll rebook if it's still avail. Great location! Great manager, great place!
