Quiet setting centrally located six miles west of Rapid City

The property was beautiful and had an amazing view out back! We felt like we were in a perfect spot to enjoy rest and relaxation during our vacation. The hosts were wonderful. They were kind, communicative, and generous in what they provided and even gifted us an incredibly tasty cheesecake! I highly recommend staying here. My family and I will be back in the future.

The house was just what we were looking for and it fit the bill for us. It was clean with all the amenities needed. The location was great with nice views driving to the house and leaving. Dan & Sherry are great hosts, very responsive to any questions. Also recommendations for places to go or sights to see. We hope to go back to SD sometime and if we do, we wouild love to stay there again..

Absolutely fantastic! A quiet area filled with nature outside of Rapid City but still close enough that we could drive back and forth easily. We really enjoyed watching deer, turkeys, and woodpeckers from the back deck, the bed was super comfortable, and the decor was very cozy. Dan and Sherry were wonderfully accommodating and really made us feel welcomed and at home, and we're glad we got a chance to chat with them while we were there. The next time we're in Rapid City, we're checking if they've got an opening first!

The property is just as advertised, quite, clean and close to several Black Hills venues.

We had a great time in the Black Hills and were very happy with our stay. Great location to explore the area and the kids enjoyed seeing the wildlife right out of the windows.

The rental was very cute, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Sherrie and Dan we very helpful and responsive to our every query. I would definitely stay here again.

This property is amazing. Located in the beautiful black hills of South Dakota, a short drive from Rapid city. With lots of wildlife to enjoy and great weather, our stay was fabulous. As for the Vrbo it was great. It had everything you could possibly want. It was very clean and spacious, and the king sized bed was as comfortable as ours is at home. I would definitely stay there again.

Our experience was wonderful. The house was everything we needed. We saw deer, turkey and peacocks right outside our door. The quiet little circle where the house is made it nice to walk our dog as well.

Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do on our family vacation to the Black Hills. The rental was spacious, clean, and hosts that went above and beyond what we expected! Definitely will stay here again!

This property had everything we needed and more. Dan and Sherry are wonderful hosts and the place was immaculate with unexpected extras to enjoy. The place was peaceful and relaxing. All activities we were interested in (Custer/Badlands) were a relatively short drive. Would highly recommend and if we are ever in that area again would want to stay there.

Property was picturesque, clean, nicely furnished and included some very thoughtful amenities. Owners were very friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Property both inside and outside was well kept and beautiful. It was just like being at home.

The unit was well furnished and supplied for all of our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was even quality coffee available! Sherry responded to all of our questions. We had a slow leak in one of our tires. Dan helped us inflate the tire and recommended a tire shop to take it to. We highly recommend this unit!

This place was great. Got to see deer early in the mornings and the sunrise was gorgeous. If ever in the area, we will book again

It was very clean and spacious. Felt like we were at home. The muffins Sherry made for us to enjoy were delicious. Saw turkeys, peacocks Deer. Would stay here again if we are in the area

Stayed at Don and Sherry’s placed very beautiful area. Neighbors are good. Lots of wildlife to see very peaceful. Great place to stay with kids. They have a pool table will be back again.

We had the best time in this quiet cozy home. Everything was super clean and so many ammenities made this vacation really easy. The hosts are lovely people who have put a lot of thought and effort into this rental. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place was situated on the top of a hill, but breathtaking views seen some turkeys. Very nice place to stay.

If I could give 10+ plus stars I would! Cute, clean and cozy! Sherri and Dan are lovely and generous ppl! We loved the peacocks, turkey and deer visits each morning. Great location away from city. Our hosts even made us breakfast to celebrate our 21st anniversary!

Dan & Sherry provide a wonderfully comfortable place in the beautiful hills- everything we needed to recharge after busy vacation days or just have a lazy time relaxing with families. Fun to watch the wildlife and watch the mist roll in and then out again. We had everything we needed, but Dan and Sherry helped right away if we had any requests. We'd love to stay there again when we come back to this area!
