Towels had a burnt odor and were old.
Very clean, quaint cabin with cooking supplies and grill, perfect for what we were looking for a long weekend getaway. Beautiful river in the back made an awesome view. Heated floors were a major plus!
Our time was amazing. We explored everything Seward had to offer. The kindness of those who live there was wonderful. This property was exactly what we saw when we rented the log cabin many months ago. The fire pit, stream with fish, full kitchen and bath, a chair, table with 2 chairs, and extra chairs. Back door on cabin led out to a nice picnic table and a grill. Soap and towels were provided. Bring your food and enjoy yourself. Wifi worked and there was some availability of TV. This location is close to everything but tucked slightly off the main road. Road noise was not bothersome.
It was a great stay, comfy and enough room for the 3 of us. The only disappointment was that you aren’t allowed to fish in the little creek next to the cabin. Overall, I would stay again.
The picture online are a little misleading. It looks like it’s a nice place out in the country, but it’s right next to a road. The Direct TV never worked so no TV. We called and asked about it and they said there are leaves on the trees and that’s why it didn’t work. The floor was dirty, I personally swept it and there was a good amount of dirt. There were no extra trash bags. The amount of dust in the vents and flat surfaces was gross. The bed needs replaced because if you turn over it sounds like it’s going to break, it’s very loud and uncomfortable! It’s pretty small which we knew that coming in but they did a good job in the pictures by making it look bigger than it actually is. We were told the property manager would be over the day of check in to address any issues we never saw him. Quaint place it is!!
Lovely little cabin in the woods. Clean and as described. Had a little problem with our door code but the host was there almost immediately to fix the problem. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back!
We enjoyed our stay at this log cabin. We would definitely come back again.
We planned a sister/mother weekend and I asked the owner the day before if they will provide the charcoal for cooking he answered he’ll have what we needed for grilling. The promised charcoal was not there for us so I asked for it and was told very rudely that they do not provide this and will just this one time. I did not feel comfortable with the confrontational way the wife of the owner spoke to me. There was miscommunication on their part which disrupted my plans. If you plan to stay here know that they do not provide anything outside of the sleeping accommodations and some cooking utensils. I will not be going back.
I really enjoyed it here, would book again!
I really enjoyed my stay! It’s a very cute cabin on a lovely creek... lots of privacy! I will be back soon!
Very clean and creek right outside with large communal fire pit. S'mores ingredients and coffee were available in the cabin.
We had a wonderful multi-day stay. The cabin was easy to find and the keyless entry was great. It allowed us not to stress when there were delays on the highway. The cabin was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. We had a great recharging weekend here with the whole family. The only suggestions I would add was to put an extra garbage bag in the bottom of the can and some kind of spondge to wash dishes. It was perfect and we really had a wonderful time!
