This is a nice place to stay. Marianne is very friendly and helpful. The animals are fun. It was convenient that there are two rooms with very different mattresses, as we were able to choose the one that was most comfortable for us.
Overall, this was a nice place, and the property manager was very communicative and friendly. The mix of farm animals was super fun for our kids. The place was not very clean, likely because they are pet friendly. For example, there was animal hair here and there, including on blankets and on bathroom floor, and pet waste in the gravel outside of main entrance. The road noise was pretty bad after 6 am (trucks using engine brakes). Having said this, the manager was very nice, with good communication - she had ice cream and cold beers at check in. The beds were very comfortable and the stargazing was fantastic. Would be great for folks with pets who are okay with places that are not super clean.
Storyteller Ranch was a wonderful spot for our family. My boys loved waking up to the goats, llamas, horse and donkey each day. The Casita was well stocked and comfortable. The host, Marianne was considerate and delightful. We would stay again.
