Stayed Apr 3, 2026The place had a damp smell and wasn’t cleaned in the manner I was expecting based on the photos that were listed. The photos don’t reveal the actual space. It was quite dark in the space and wasn’t what I was expecting based on the photos with the pool and the outdoor patio area.

The kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen we have had in a rental...lots of dishes, silverware, glasses, cups, pots and pans etc. The outside patio was fantastic. The pool wasn't usable but it was Christmas so we really didn't miss it. Our host was not home but he was quick to answer any messages I sent.

Stayed Jan 22, 2025It was a unique arrival in NOLA with my bulldog Nola, sliding around on Carrollton Ave. to St. Charles then to Short Street. The garden apartment was snug and welcoming despite the snow around the pool and covering the lounge chairs. The weather warmed up quickly and we took advantage walking in the beautiful neighborhood and in the park, on the levee and down in the garden district. The apartment was so comfortable, enjoyed morning coffee planning each day's activities. All amenities ensured a comfortable stay. Marianne decorated their beautiful home in Mardi Gras regalia and no doubt she and Sascha will enjoy the season. I'd love to come back for more time next year!
