Private, beautiful apartment in historic district

This is a beautiful place to stay as well as affordable. You will not be disappointed.

Overall was good, the AC was very loud.

The place was absolutely amazing. The hosts were extremely nice. The location was nicely situated in the middle of Ocala in a wonderful neighborhood. Great place to stay. Plus the outdoor courtyard was very relaxing w cornhole boards as a nice extra!!!Absolutely recommend!

Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Very conveniently located with easy access to downtown Ocala and Silver Springs State park.

We first stayed at The Blue Heron three years ago and were very impressed. So, we have kept going back. JP and Jill are super hosts . Our needs are met immediately. The apt. Is clean with a fully functional kitchen and outdoor grill. There is a laundry for our use there also. This property is close to downtown in a very walkable and safe neighborhood. It is near to bike riding paths and golf courses. It also has a back deck and our dog is welcome too! We love it and will be going back. Mark and Kathy

Definitely a unique property. I think the high ceilings caught me off guard. The space is safe, clean, well lit once you figure out the lighting situation, really quiet inside and out and the neighborhood is spectacular! When you give a place a chance you might be pleasantly surprised, I was!

Everything worked out fine. Getting used to how to operate the lights was interesting. The host was very responsive to whatever we needed.

Great location in historic district with easy walking to town for restaurants & breweries. Nice historic building for our Magnolia apt. Communication was great. Quiet neighbors in our building and neighborhood. Available laundry was a plus.

The apartment was wonderful. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen was great & had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking with you again when we come to visit our son & his family.

Used only for spending the evenings. Clean and owner was very responsive for a minor issue with the internet.

Jill was wonderful to work with. Somehow VRBO created my reservation for 2026 instead of 2025. I never noticed until the night before we were to check in.I messaged Jill right away and she figured it all out for us. The apartment is in the perfect location to get downtown. It's easy walking or driving. Magnolia had everything we could want inside. We've got family in town so we will be back again.

We had one small issue that could not have been rectified quicker! It was a lovely stay. Love the back and front patio! We played corn hole. We felt very comfortable. Excellent location. Host is super friendly, and super nice! Will be back. Highly recommended!

We came up here for a four day stay. The host was fantastic. She was very quick to reply, was responsive to questions and very helpful. The listing and photos of the inside were 100% accurate. Parking was very convenient and well lit. The apartment was very clean, well kept up, and well stocked with whatever you would need. The listing was very accurate. It had extra towels and sheets and blankets, shampoo and blow dryer in the bathroom. The kitchen had cooking supplies, including pans, utensils, and oil. Everything worked well. The barbecue was a bonus and we did use it. Time spent here was very quiet and relaxing. We didn’t have time to enjoy the private patio off the bedroom, but it was very clean and charming. I would definitely stay here again when we come back to Ocala next year or sooner hopefully. I definitely recommend this place and this owner.

Little confusion in the beginning ref. incorrect information but it got worked out. Loved the rental. The bed was cozie and the shower was hugh with 3 shower heads. Clean kitchen and no bad odors. Close to the square. I would stay again for sure. Thanks, L

Nice inside but wont stay here again.-black mold in the shower. Also barely had enough time to wash my hair and shave before water went ice cold- unit was hard to find and poorly marked -keypad to unit didnt work well-Heat didnt work well-every outlet had glade plugins that were overwhelmomg along witj an aroma therapy machine-tv didnt work well-clogged shower drainage -No checkout instructions- shared laundry unit that was somewhere outside and for our stay we couldnt use it bc of assigned times. -no directions of where to take trash or what to do with itCaught the unit on sale but even then it wasnt worth the cost. No extra linen we could find and it was hard to heat the unit without turning the heat up high, then it got too hot and we had to tuen the a.c back on to cool it off. We couldnt get a comfortable temp.

Great location with lots of outdoor patio space. It was an easy walk downtown to have dinner and drinks. We would absolutely stay here again when the need arises.

We stayed here 3 weeks ago on our way thru traveling to a job and came back on our way home. Much better than a hotel stay. Keep up with the at home feeling, cleanliness and pricing. It all matters.

Such a beautiful property with cute apartments (they use to be artists galleries) The owners were wonderful and gave us all the information before we got there during our stressful drive from escaping the hurricane. Could not of asked for a better place to stay. We love you so much. We’re going back in two weeks for my husband’s birthday so we can take the glass bottom boat tour and explore the town of Ocala more. We were only a few blocks from downtown. We ate at bricks, which was exceptionally good. We’re going to try a couple more restaurants in the next few weeks when we return. If you want a great place to stay in Ocala, this is it and book early because I think they fill up pretty quickly.
