Stayed Mar 9, 2024We stayed here for 4 days while in Cerritos for surfing. Overall it’s a cute little place, close to the beach, fairly easy to find. I had my Canadian number associated with VRBO and not my Mexican number so I suspect getting the keys would have been easier as Michael texted me a photo of the pick up location, but in the end it we got the keys and it was fine. The house and bathroom were very clean! My one critique is there wasn’t a microwave or toaster. Not a deal breaker, possibly listed in the listing and perhaps I just didn’t read well enough, but again not a huge issue. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area was lovely, the view from the balcony was gorgeous and the flowers around the house were stunning! We were too busy to end up in the pool however it appeared to be very clean. We had a great stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Sep 18, 2022This spot is super simple and clean and nice. It’s on some farmland and is a short walk to the beach. Not a lot of other rentals or tourist things going on around it which was a huge plus for us, could be a drawback for others. But we really enjoyed The location and the beach that it was near. Really affordable, good host, bathroom and shower are really nice, lots of good birds flying around

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Inside is exactly like the photos. Simple space. Great for a couple, especially if you both surf or have a car to take day trips or just want to do nothing. The unit is between two others so shared walls means some minor noise. Also the raw concrete floor is cold and dries out your feet of you go barefoot. Surrounded by farm fields. Sand front yard/parking area. Large back yard of sand, weeds and dirt, with tables and chairs to take in view of the mountains. It is on a main dirt road to San Pedrito beach and to many farm fields so a few cars per hour drive by week days. The road is quiet at night. It felt safe enough. The gate stays closed so that keeps people from wandering in.
