Wilmington, North Carolina
One unit in a two family house, this 1200 sq ft apartment has all the amenities of today, and the charm of yesterday. A large covered porch is an essential feature in a southern home and you will find yourself compelled to sit there in the afternoons after a long day exploring Wilmington. It is also the perfect location if you have a wedding at The Brooklyn Arts Center. It has an open living room and kitchen concept downstairs with a half bath, and 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. Hardwood floors and tile throughout, gas stove and point of use hot water so you never run out!
Really liked the character of the house. It was an early 20th century refurb that was both eclectic but updated with modern amenities; but was decorated with antiques. It was within walking distance to the downtown waterfront and close to everything. We enjoyed the stay and will almost certainly come back sometime in the future. The only negative was no on-site parking. We parked in front of the house on the street.
Within 20 minutes walk to Live Oak Pavilion. 20 Minute drive to Wrightsville beach. Would not recommend females walking at night alone in neighborhood. Great stay for what we needed. Would stay again if needed.
Everything was clean, the location was great. Owner came over when we couldn’t figure out how to get the AC on. Highly recommend!
Property just as described - great location & easy walk to several restaurants, breweries. Weather was very rainy so we ended up driving some places we would otherwise walk but were glad to have the spacious house to spread out. Nicely refurbed older house. Would definitely recommend!
The home was clean and a short drive to downtown. Street parking was easy. Good space for relaxing with television or playing games.
We had a wonderful stay in Wilmington and couldn’t recommend this home enough. The check in directions were easy as was communication with the owner. The home is lovely! Fresh and clean and everything we needed. It is blocks from some great restaurants and shopping so we didn’t need our cars the whole weekend. We even walked to the Live Oak amphitheater for a show with ease. We lucked into a fantastic bakery just around the corner, Brooklyn Cafe and had breakfast there both mornings. All homemade items and great coffee. I would absolutely stay here again.
This was the perfect spot for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Such a cute space and within walking distance from the Brooklyn Arts Center! I would definitely stay here again.
