Perfect family retreat, walk everywhere, and what a view!

We enjoyed our stay- convenient walking distance to businesses and attractions. Good level of amenities and space. The bad is that the master bed was very much sagging and it felt like sleeping on a hammock, and the loft was really for young kids only. Parking was easy and convenient. We would stay again here but might bring a blow up mattress instead of sleeping in master bed

Ben was a great host! He responded quickly to our qour questions/needs. This location is perfect to explore Grand Marais and to enjoy hiking in nearby locations! Comfortable beds, clean and beautiful view of lake! We will be back!

Wonderful stay, bigger than we expected and great host!

Great location and view. Clogged drains in bathroom sink and shower. No wash clothes. We did enjoy the stay.

The space was great for my family and the location was excellent.We had enough space to prep lunches and eat breakfast. There was plenty of sleeping space for my family of five. The location is just blocks away from the harbor and my three-year-old handled it well.I have a little feedback to make the stay more enjoyable. 1) Have hand soap (and body wash). - Both pumps were empty. 2) Have a wash rag and drying towel in the kitchen. - The sponge in there smelled so bad, I threw it in the corner. Other than that, the tub drained a little slow.

Overall, very positive. Nice apartment, right downtown. Used our car once or twice..walked everywhere. Beautiful area to explore.

4th year in the building... will come back again next year

We had a bit of trouble finding the location but only because we didn’t have phone service when we got to Grand Marais. The host gave well written directions with the check in information but apparently I am challenged with following directions. We figured it out and Ben was quick to respond to our distress - we just had spotty cell connection and didn’t see his texts. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the description and photos were accurate, the beds were comfortable and the place had a very peaceful feeling to it. We all slept so peacefully! I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to be close to town. 10/10 stay for us!

Ben was wonderful, accommodated all our requests. The lodging was perfect for our family of five, space for privacy and open area for gathering. Views of Grand Marais and Superior. Perfect location and space for our family celebration. Thank you!
