Penthouse Palace - Private Heated Pool and Spa

Unfortunately, our stay at the Penthouse Palace did not meet expectations. We experienced several significant issues, many of which were dismissed as guest-related rather than acknowledged as property concerns.For example:•A tile on the rooftop near the pool cracked beneath normal use, and we were advised this would only have occurred due to “extreme force.”•The BBQ area was visibly unclean, despite being advised it had been cleaned to standard between stays.•The lighting throughout the property flickered continuously, and we were instructed to adjust the dimmers, which we attempted without resolving the issue.•The lounge was so unhygienic that it was unusable without covering it first.Given the premium price of the penthouse, the standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall experience fell well below what was reasonably expected

Lovely apartment with a great view.

The location and set out of the penthouse was awesome. The private rooftop pool and spa are amazing. The living area is a little tired especially the lounge for the price per night. A few things were not working but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this Penthouse apartmemt& it was great. The apartment was done really well, it was neat, tidy and furnished very well, and had everything you could ever need including secure car spots. It was in a very convenient location close to everything and in a really nice area. The host had clear & prompt communication before & during our stay making everything easier. Its a really comfortable convenient & pleasant place to stay Highly recommended house & host.  A

Location was great, withing walking distance of Marina, Woolies and restaurants. Plenty of room for large family and the private pool made it extra special.

We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment, only a short drive to sightsee whales. I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness, it didn’t seem to be clean by a professional prior to our arrival, the spa baths had a lot of mould build up around the jets and there was dust present, the lounge was very dirty and there was a smell present when we walked in, the conditioner in the showers were empty. It would have been helpful if there was instructions for the TV’s as I could get all to stream Netflix. For the cost of the apartment I would have expected it to be cleaned prior our stay, if I were to stay again I would check to see if the property had been maintained and cleaned

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, the views are spectacular & the plunge pool & spa are a wonderful bonus. Being in walking distance to shops, beach & marina was awesome. However needs a deep clean & attention to maintenance eg older model oven needs cleaning or replacing, couches need cleaning, under beds had small debris & thick dust, bbq cover needs replacing as ripped & difficult to put back on. When I’m paying premium prices for luxury accommodation I expect it to be spotlessly clean & have matching good quality dinnerware, glassware & cutlery for the number of guests booked. The water feature near the pool area is not working & has wiring hanging out.

We had a great time exploring Nelson bay. The hike up mount tomaree was breathtaking, local food was yummy, the shops were fun to browse through. Everything was an easy walking distance. The stay was incredibly rejuvenating and stress free. We loved the pool and spa, views were top notch, beds comfy and the house had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely amazing beautiful place. Leaving/ dining and kitchen awesome the only things that was a concern was the glass table it lifts up and the oven was hard to work out need instructions. All bedrooms can not fault at all. The outdoor area spectacular views amazing only thing half the jets worked in the spa and the lights didn’t come on up stairs which made it hard to enjoy at night.

A property was ultra lux A little aged but overall it was very nice
