Stayed Dec 24, 2024Terrible Experience - Do NOT Book This Property!We booked and paid for this property during our Christmas vacation, and we would NOT recommend it to anyone. After receiving confirmation from Vrbo, we arrived at the property only to find no one there to assist us. Things took a disturbing turn when I received a random WhatsApp call from someone claiming they could offer us a similar property nearby—but only if we agreed to pay the Vrbo price through Zelle or bank transfer.This person had all of our booking details, which immediately raised red flags. How did they get access to our personal information unless the property owner shared it? It was clear from the conversation that this was a fraudulent scheme.We contacted Vrbo support and opened a case about this serious issue. Despite multiple attempts, the property owner never answered our calls or reached out to us. We provided Vrbo with all the necessary information, and I sincerely hope they’ve taken action to prevent this property from being listed again.
