Absolutely amazing. The Pelican’s Perch is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and very pretty gardens at the property. You have your own patio seating space with a grill. The apartment is very clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Michael and Wendy are great hosts.

The kitchen was fully equipped, they even had spices and coffee and snacks.

What a joy to just relax and unwind at such a quiet,unique and absolutely adorable place. Everything we needed was included. All we had to do was unpack and enjoy. Love the property and Wendy and Mike were the best hosts. Made us feel like family or old friends. We were blessed!

A great place to stay in St. Marys! The accommodations were excellent with plenty of room and all the amenities. The rooms are warm and inviting and pleasantly decorated. We will be staying there again in the future.

This is a great place to stay. St Marys isn't for people looking for a place like South Beach Miami. It is a small slow paced town. If you are looking for a clean quiet place to stay in a historic town on the water you can't beat Pelican's Perch.

My sister and I stayed at this property for a short weekend trip before her senior year, and we absolutely loved it! It was a gorgeous property, super clean, and the owners were very generous with amenities. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

What a perfect getaway! It was quiet and relaxing. Beautiful coastal decor. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days away. It had everything we needed. This will be a place to revisit again! Loved it!

A Pelican's Perch is the most well thought out vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The grounds are exquisite- beautiful plants & flowers and the cottage is so cheerful - filled with beautiful Art and every amenity you could think of or might have forgotten in packing for your trip. The hosts were perfect and the generous use of their golf cart made our trip even more fun and memorable.

Loved our stay. The property is beautiful with lovely gardens. The unit was immaculate, beautifully furnished and had everything you could possibly need for a stay. We loved using the golf cart and explored around town. We also did the Cumberland Island tour which was awesome.

Beautiful apartment! Everything a traveler would want or need. We booked thru VRBO and had issues w owner not knowing or being notified we booked the apartment for two nights. Luckily Mike was outside when we pulled in-he had no idea we were coming. Unfortunately the golf cart was broken and we couldn’t use it.

We had a wonderful stay at The Pelican’s Perch! It is absolutely adorable and spacious for a one-bedroom place. We didn’t cook, but everything is there if you need to. There are extra surceys all around such as the sample local soap in the bathroom, the chocolates on the side table, and the bowl of snacks on the kitchen bar. Everything was clearly labeled, too. The bed was quite comfortable, and use of the golf cart was such a nice touch as well. So glad we stumbled upon St. Marys, and it was great to meet Wendy and Mike! Oh, and the food at the Harbor restaurant was really good. And if you’re a breakfast person, do not miss out on trying Steffens in Kingsland! It’s an old diner with amazing home-cooked food.

We came to St. Mary’s to be close to family while my daughter underwent surgery, and I stayed here with my granddaughters during that time. From the moment we arrived, this home felt like a true refuge. It is, without question, the best STR I’ve ever booked. The beautiful artwork, thoughtful personal touches, wonderful and tasteful setup, fun, and beachy décor created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The neighborhood is peaceful and inviting, and the hosts were absolutely exceptional. This home provided exactly what our family needed during an important and emotional time, and we are deeply grateful for the care and intention the hosts have poured into every detail.This review is not complete unless I mention that it was Christmas time during our stay. And the waterfront area was beautiful and decorated for the holiday! The children and I walked around the parade of trees down at the waterfront, took family pictures at the giant tree, and played at the playground. To say St. Mary’s and this listing are hidden gems, would be an understatement.If you and your family are considering this space to rent during your stay in St. Mary’s, GO AHEAD AND BOOK IT! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

The location was perfect. It was nice and quiet. We came here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city & to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was SO clean. We loved using the golf cart to buzz around town. There were so many great restaurants to try! We loved the little local bookstore. Everyone we encountered was so kind.

The location is awesome for visiting St Mary’s and Cumberland Island area. The property was even better than described, spotlessly clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The grounds are a beautiful garden with lots of flowering local plants and the birds and bees they attract. The outdoor area is also top notch with nice patio area and gas grill. Hosts were very friendly and available if needed. Overall one of the best VRBO locations we have ever rented and we have been to many great locations 5 stars plus!

The pelican perch was super cozy. Had everything we needed. The golf cart was a bonus for heading down for sunset every evening at the waterfront and for checking out with town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well equipped and very comfortable unit. We had everything we needed,hosts were very friendly and we had fun using the golf cart to zip into town. We have used vrbo for years and this was the best we have had. Would highly recommend.

Needed 2 to3 days to just get away and treat ourselves to eating out etc. It was very enjoyable and Michael and Wendy were great host. Will definitely be back.

Wendy and Michael are excellent host. We stayed at Pelican Perch three times. Their place is beautiful, it has everything you need, and is super clean.

My husband and I came for relaxation. We have stayed here, I think 4 or more times. It is a lovely apartment, well stocked with all of the necessities. Wendy and Michael are on hand, if you should run into any problems.It’s is a second floor unit, but the stairs are a very easy climb.

Great place for a girl’s get away and antiquing trip!

Very nice property with use of bicycle and golf cart. Very peaceful and the owners were very attentive.
