What our guests said!: Last Saturday we were in Zell on the Ziller, it was amazing, it was so quiet. There were cows wandering through the streets, you could stroke them. When they mooed it was so nice, it sounded like cattle coming down from the mountain. A holiday at this time of year is fantastic!

Martina was very responsive via email and phone when booking and very welcoming on arrival. The apartment is spotless and perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well equipped, toilet is separate from the shower and it was great to have a dining/living room for us to enjoy evenings together. There was a dryer for our ski boots in the basement which was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to return and if we are back in the area this apartment would be our first choice. Kim and Fred

We have just returned from a fantastic week in the Zillertal. The owners, Ludwig and Anna, are very welcoming, and made us feel at home. Although we could only converse in German, it helped me improve my knowledge of the language, and made us feel part of the culture. The apartment was clean and is very well-equipped, and as a family of 5 we felt we had more than enough space. The children remarked how comfortable their beds were, and although our teenage girls shared a double, it was king-size, and they slept well. The views from the apartment are spectacular, and the balcony allows you to witness stunning sunrises and thunderstorms. The town is only a short walk away, and there is a supermarket for groceries. Several good restaurants are in Aschau, and in other neighbouring towns. We tended to drive from one town to another, but there is an excellent train and bus service along the valley, or easy bike rides and walks. If you want to experience an active, outdoor life-style then there is plenty to do in the summer - we went walking, bike-riding, toboganning, and paragliding. Town bands play in each town most evenings, and Tyrolean music and dancing can be enjoyed almost everywhere. Not to mention healthy slices of applestrudel! The appartment was easy to find, about 2 hours drive from Munich, and driving was not a problem on the motorways. Since the Zillertal is largely a farming community you may notice the occasional whiff of farmyard smells, but that just reminded that we were away from city life, in an amazing environment. We will definitely be back - hopefully in Winter to ski. Thank you Ludwig and Anna. Gruss Gott!
