Stayed Jun 14, 2026We loved staying at this beautiful property. It was very close to Big Basin NP and the Lehman caves and the property itself has amazing views and green trees and grass and a nice pond. Sunrises are magical. And at night it was dark enough to see all the stars. The unit was comfortable and well equipped. We were able to make all our meals. There is no oven but the microwave and hot plate work well. The AC also worked well but we didn’t need it much since there was a nice breeze. Communication with Sandee was excellent and she gave us very good directions. One trick is to follow the signs to the Private Retreat. We highly recommend staying here.

Stayed May 23, 2026We loved staying here in this studio apartment which is very cute, fully equipped, and located in a very quiet area up the road to Great Basin National Park. It was a bit difficult to find but folks living near there were helpful, pleasant, and welcoming. If back in the area again, we would definitely choose this place and for a few days in order to visit Great Basin NP allowing plenty of time.
