Lovely stay! The place had all the essentials and loved the proximity to both beautiful hiking trails and Burlington for great restaurants and shopping. It was close to a relatively busy road just as an fyi. The hosts were very accommodating I would definitely stay here again!

This was a really sweet place - beautifully decorated and well equipped in a charming old house. The location was nearly perfect, within steps of the famed Shelburne General Store and other great shops as well as a coffee shop, wine store/art gallery, grocery store and drug store. The amazing Shelburne Museum is also just up the street. The front porch was also nice for morning coffee, evening cocktails and to watch the street life. Only down side is that the house is right in “downtown Shelburne,” which is admittedly quite small. So there is some train and street noise, and footsteps from upstairs neighbors in the multi-family house. Nothing most urban or busy suburban residents aren’t used to, but if you are sensitive to noise and opposed to ear plugs for sleeping, this may not be the place for you. Also, the charming old house has some quirks, like no outlets near the bedsides. The hosts put in an extension cord, but it can get underfoot. The beautiful claw footed tub can also be hard to get in and out of, so folks with mobility issues may want to consider that. Overall, I would definitely come back for the location and charm!

Really lovely property. With some shower improvement it would be just perfection. We love the location, the historic home, and staying in Shelburne versus Burlington. We would come again.

We were out most of the day and utilized the space largely at night. We found it cozy and manageable. Great AC system and cooling fans. Very comfortable bed/mattress.SO convenient in the ways of walkability to coffee shops, food market, etc.
