Pacific Park 305, easy access to restaurants and nightlife from Pacific Park 305

Everything was great! Easy to find; Easy to get in; Great check in instructions; LargeBeautiful and very comfortable. Here was the issue- The ice machine in the refrigerator wasn’t working. I called the property manager and asked them to send someone. It was three days of excuses and apologies and we never were able to get anyone there to troubleshoot the issue. Imagine in July in Central America and you’re staying in a luxury condo and the ice machine doesn’t work!! The least they could’ve done was deliver an ice bag daily in light of the issue. This is an amazing apartment and building and I will stay there again. I just won’t have high expectations of the property management company.

Overall this condo is fantastic, roomy, well furnished and supplied, comfortable bed, great showers, huge balcony. Location is middle of town, but that is a bit of a two edged sword. You are close to everything, great dining, the beach, shops, markets, groceries, etc. The one downside is noise. There can be some very loud, late-night music. It can go to 1:30 a.m. and even later. Sundays seemed to be the worst. However, most nights the noise is fine, but others, not so much. There is a nice pool, though it was somewhat deficient on lounge chairs. There is underground parking, 24 hr. security, weekly maid service, and constant cleaning of the out door areas. If you are sensitive to noise, you should probably look more out of the city center and into areas like Langosta. But if you are okay with some loud evenings a couple of nights a week, this place is fantastic.

I've been torn about giving 4 or 5 stars but ultimately gave it 5 . we loved our stay, the condo is great, the location perfect, and we would absolutely stay here again. the unit is beautifully laid out, with nice furnishings, we lived on the deck which overlooked trees - where howler monkeys, birds, and iguanas would hang out. the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and they even had the middle foam thingy to convert the twin beds to a king-size bed (when i asked if they had this, i was told no, but it was in the closet and they should include that in the VRBO info). we got a lovely welcome gift and a few days later another delicious delivery - the mango spread was beyond yummy. we had maid service weekly (we stayed a month) and they were wonderful (never knew when they would show up, but they always came with a smile and worked hard). the condo building was very clean and there was a person at the front controlling who came into the building and kept an eye on the parking garage - to open and close as needed. Such a warm, comfortable place that we truly enjoyed and management was easy to work with. the minor issues - the kitchen is extremely sparse, two pots, two pans, no cooking basics such as spices, oils, etc. the beach stuff is also sparse and what's there is broken. basically two beach chairs each with a broken arm. working chairs and a couple of boogie boards would be nice. the deck furniture is not comfortable, however, we put cushions under and behind us when on the deck and that worked fine. it would also have been really nice to have a dining table outside on the deck - nothing big or fancy, just a place to eat dinner outside. the major issue that would cause me to give it 4 stars: the techno music from nearby clubs is blasting until 2A-3A each night/morning (4-5 times a week). i realize the condo has no control over that, however, some units put in soundproof glass for doors and windows and this is really needed here. how bad was it? well, we adjusted, we were there for a month and we would go back because everything else was really great. our son and his girlfriend simply put their earbuds in each evening and went to sleep listening to their own music. i'm a solid sleeper so after the first few nights, i got used to it and slept fine. my husband was my biggest concern as he's a light sleeper but he also found a way to make it work. we loved our stay, we loved tamarindo. we'll be back.
