Please note that Pablo is one private apartment at Casa Verapaz, and there are two other apartments on the property: Carina and Vela.

Your booking includes private use of the Pablo apartment and its private garden, while the pool, hot springs jacuzzi, larger shared gardens, and lake access are shared with guests staying in the other apartments.

Please note that the pool is not heated. The hot springs jacuzzi is heated on request, and the lake access is natural lakeshore access, not a beach-style swimming area.

Location:
Casa Verapaz is located in Santa Catarina Palopó, with both road and lake access. It is a short walk from the village and about 10–12 minutes by car from Panajachel.

Guest access:
- Guests will have private access to the Pablo apartment.
- Pablo also includes its own private garden for your use.
- Casa Verapaz has two other apartments on the property: Carina and Vela. The pool, hot springs jacuzzi, larger shared gardens, and lake access are shared with guests staying in those apartments.
- Pablo also has its own private outdoor BBQ.
- If arriving by car, guests may park only in Pablo’s assigned parking space.
- Some gated areas of the property, including the main house and service areas, are reserved for owners and staff only.

Other things to note:
- Check-in instructions will be sent 24 hours before arrival.
- Dog-friendly: $50 USD / Q385 per pet, per stay. Please add your pet to the reservation.
- Laundry service available: Q60 per load.
- Parking: On-site parking is best suited for smaller vehicles. Larger vehicles may need to park on the street or in paid parking nearby.
- Please note: As is common in our hillside lakeside setting, the property includes stairs and outdoor walking paths between some areas.
- For safety, exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance, stairs, and rear entrances. They record video only, not sound.
- The property offers natural lake access, not a beach-style swimming area.
- The pool is not heated, and the jacuzzi is heated on request.
- Santa Catarina Palopó is a peaceful village, but like many towns in Guatemala, there may occasionally be fireworks, music, church sounds, or local celebrations.
